Humidifier for Bedroom 5.8L

I was not asked to write a review. one of those rare times I guess. I was busy but took time out to rate the product. It is quiet, and it is effective. It has two adjustable spouts that shoot the breeze of mist out so you can have them going in two directions. The remote lets you time it, create warm or cold mist, let's you adjust the amount of mist, and more. The container is cool galactic looking, so you can place it anywhere and it looks suave. I am really happy i purchased this product. Any negative? The LED blinks a soft light blue menu on the front. I could live without that. It could be that there is a fix for it, but if it’s not a button that says something to the affect of “Light On/Off,” I’m slow to investigate. It’s still, so far, a great product. I could say more but I don't think I need to.

I've been using this for a few months now at least 4-5 nights a week in the bedroom. Have had no problems at all. It is very quiet, actually kind of soothing. The buttons can be a little finicky. I usually use the remote to turn it on and set it up. The remote works very nicely. The large capacity is great. My only real complaint is the beeps it makes when the timer turns it off or the water runs out. Some people might like the beep, but it will probably wake most people if it beeps while you're sleeping. It would be nice if it didn't beep at all when those things happen or you could turn the beep off. The plastic for the water chamber could be a little thicker. Be gentle with it while cleaning. I'm still glad I bought it and highly recommend it.

We had the humidifier up on a taller dresser so that it would have maximum affect on the room (since moisture drops down, having it too close to the floor won't do much). We used it a few times and then rinsed it out per instructions, refilled the tank per instructions, and then left it to run through the night on warm steam at low level with humidity set at 50%. We had a towel underneath to catch any extra mist or a rogue drip hitting the dresser top. When we woke the next morning, it LEAKED 2/3 OF THE TANK onto my dresser top and onto my carpet. It has ruined/buckled my dresser top and soaked the carpet. I contacted the company via email with the requested information and was promised by the automated email that someone would contact within 1 business day. I've not heard from them. So, we are returning the item (having to find a box to put it in in order for UPS to take it back...we don't have a suitable size so I will probably have to buy one). So, I will be refunded the amount of the humidifier, but no reimbursement for the damage to my dresser or a box to ship the stupid thing back in. DO NOT BUY.

This humidifier is very good and better than my previous ones that were three times the price and with more bells and whistles. When it works. I had it put away for two months and then used it for a week as we got hit hard in a snow storm and it sucked up all the humidity. I only used distilled or purified water if I can't find distilled. However I noticed a tiny bit of a dirty water scent. I went to clean it and tried to find a video that explains this 771 model and nada. Manuals yeah but even then very vague most devices manufacturers have videos. Instead I found this little phillipino dude who is very happy and speaks with a very high 7 year old girl voice and he starts with the only reason I am doing this video is because I couldn't find not one video. He proceeded to just wing it lol. I just wanted to learn about the cleaning agent and what not to get wet and he just went with water and pretending to be vinegar and a lot of it then later bleach and water. I just used vinegar and water and separated every thing and did a surgical cleaning. Put it back together and filled it up half way and took it back to the bedroom and it didn't turn on. I filled it and nothing still. I then took it apart and put it together making sure that it was in good shape and tried a different outlet and nada. Emptied out the water and pushed down on the plunger and nothing. I decided to try to find a repair article nope. Not even my little phillipino kid. I have the manual but talks about this or that and doesn't turn on with a vague explanation. I need one line that reads in bold print Unit doesn't turn on after cleaning and at least a few different suggestions. Or even just No Worky!! If they really want to be customer service oriented I would have a website that would have your model and different videos cleaning, troubleshooting, when to contact them to send you a new one. I have spent $130k this year alone at Amazon they will give me a new one for the inconvenience. But again when working this is the best unit for the money any money.

We are loving this humidifier! Super easy to fill with its top load, easy to clean with large opening. Sleep mode is wonderful! No lights to distract you & mostly silent (sometimes hear a trickle of water). Easy to use control panel. A bonus, that I didn’t realize it had, is a reusable, cleanable filter. I haven’t tried the warm mist yet. It sure has been nice to have for all the dry air in the house with the big freeze we have had in the south this week. It’s been running non-stop since we got it week ago (other than the 12 hours our power was off) with no problems. Easily runs on high for 24 hours on 1 fill. I have owned several other humidifiers over the years & this is by far the best one I’ve had.

I was seeking a humidifier that went completely dark for sleeping. I am very nearsighted and any amount of light at nighttime seems to become a bright beacon in the room keeping me awake. This units sleep mode shuts off all lights on the unit.It has cold or warm humidity capabilities and you can use essential oils per the little oil tray on the side of the unit.Easy to use, works great, long lasting tank, and easy to clean. It also comes with a remote.What more could you need?
