Susan BatesSilvalume Soft Handle Aluminum Crochet Hook 5.5"-Size I9/5.5Mm

I already have a set of Susan Bates hooks but these exceeded my expectation. I'm so pleased with them. I have arthritis in my hands and find some (even some ergonomic handles) quite hard to use, but these are amazing. Highly recommended.

I bought it for the "soft" handle description, but the handle is very hard, a better description would be "smooth" handle. The little bump is very low and makes it awkward to hold, and because it's so smooth I have to grip it harder causing more of a cramp. Gave it 3 starts because I love susan bates hooks. All in all, very disappointed with the so called ergonomic handle.

The soft handle cover begins quite a ways below the thumb rest. I prefer to hold the hook quite close to the working end, and so the ergonomics did not work for me.
