It's a kind of eye catching design and when come in to use It's very practical as well. Easy to setup and pack and light weight too. Good for both winter and summer as it has very good ventilation system, which is easy to open and close. Even during heavy rain there is no sign of water inside and very sturdy during wind if properly pitched. Possible to shift from one place to another as it is a freestanding tent. I am posting this review after using it for more than 2 years. Always use the tent with a ground sheet to extend the life span of the tent. The inner shelter is removable so it can be washed separately if required. The guylines are also reflective that's is a very good feature during night to keep us safe while walking. If it has little more head room this could be the best tent available.

This is my first Vango tent having previously exclusively used the American Marmot's, which are a personal favourite of mine for ease of assembly.The Vango Mirage 300+ oozes quality in both construction and materials used. It withstood a heavy and unexpected night-time downpour with no signs of water ingress whatsoever.The ventilation mesh provided is minimal compared to typical North American spec'd tents, however it is totally effective being strategically placed at key points throughout the tent. A tent designed for the European climate.The generous front end headroom and large vestibule, a result of the Gothic arch entrance design feature are an added and useful bonus. Value for money is second to none.My only complaint is that while the Vango would clearly withstand a serious gale and storm when properly erected, the tent is overly complicated in design which made for a fussy and unexpectedly lengthy first assembly on arrival at the site - a bit of a learning curve.SUMMARY: A quality, confidence inspiring, and robust tent offering fabulous value for money and protection from the elements. Complicated design increases pitch erection time by comparison to others on the market. I would certainly consider the purchase of another Vango on build and material quality alone. Recommended.
