Bright and cute!!!
i bought 2 of these. an owl and the dog. first ill say my 3 year old granddaughter was excited to get these. both the lantern and the headset are bright and battery life is good. definitely a hit with the kids. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Fun and bright
My kid loved these sets of lanterns and head lamps. The head lamps are bight. Perfect for our camping trip in the mountains! I would buy again!

Cute gift
Got this as a gift for my nephew. It was adorable and he was excited to use it for "camping" in his room. It was convenient that the batteries were included. It wasn't the brightest light but it wasn't super dim either. Definitely helpful for being able to locate your kid in the dark.

Fun camping lamp
The lamp works pretty well for what it is. There are a lot of cheaper headlamp/lantern options out there so its just mediocre value-wise. But I got this cause of the owl look which basically looks just like the picture. headlamp is probably for a child, but can easily fit an adult head. I tested it and it fits mine and I have a big head. The headlamps isn't super comfortable as it doesn't have the padding that some other headlamps do, but works well enough for light usage. I wouldn't expect to take or use this in any serious back country camping or thru hiking. Overall its a fun lamp to have and look at.

Adorable, but one faulty set out of 3
Ordered 2 sets for my kids for our camping trip and upon delivery one lantern had non functional eye lights and one headlamp was non functional. Replacement was sent for the non working set and it worked fine. Pull tabs were all in place and pulled out for testing and they were all for sure new out of the box. I would recommend but don't order last minute. Make sure you order with enough time to verify they are functional.
