Great Wood Subfloor Gap Filler!
Not sure what you guys are using it for, but worked just great as a seam filler between subfloor sheet gaps tp ensure when I DO use real self-leveler that it doesn't drip between the sheets of wood. Worked absolutely perfect for my intent and purpose!

Excellent product
Use on old wood floor underlayment with uneven spots where a pour floor leveler would not work. Really durable and not prone to cracking. Best to apply with a puddy knife and smooth out (scrape) with a cheap plastic drywall mud tool. Not easily sandable so get the level you want before drying. Small dry flecks will easily scrape off. Like anything, gets easier to do after you practice with product a bit.

Serves a purpose but not a miracle worker.
The consistency is quite thick and therefore it is not easy to spread or flatten. That said, the thickness does make it easy to apply in small areas where one has to avoid wood molding. I used it to cover an area where linoleum had broken off. After curing, it was cracked. Not a big deal for my purpose but if I needed a smoothe surface, this is not what I would use. But as a leveler, it seems to work.

Product works just fine.
Pretty straightforward instructions on package of patch mix. Easy to apply, holds well.Only criticism is the shipping envelope. The patch mix was shipped in a flexible envelope. As a result of poor packing the lid snapped off allowing some product to leak out of packaging.Would buy again.

Not great
Went on pretty easy, BUT I was very dissapointed with the result after it was dried. Has a lot of grit in the matrix, which should have warned me - dried like CEMENT, not wood patch. Couldn't sand it by hand - had to rent a floor sander and use 36 grit - took forever to smooth. Would never use this product again.

This isn't a floor leveler
Anyone buying a floor leveler expects a slurry that can be spread over a large surface and is liquid enough that it self-levels before hardening. This isn't a floor leveler. It is a thick, heavily sanded vinyl paste - kind of like grout patch except with coarser sand. It is too thick to be spread with a trowel and doesn't self-level at all. I like most DAP products, but I don't know what they think this product should be used for. I had to dig it out after it dried and start again, so it cost me two days of work.

Works well and it is easily shaped
Vital when redoing a floor and some subfloor patching is needed. it takes longer to dry, then is listed on the packaging.
