Worked perfect in my cabellas smoker had no issues just finshed smoking some wild boar and st Louis style ribs and still have not had no issues since i installed this element! Better than spending the money to replace smoker!highly recommend

Replaced a burnt out element on my original smoker.Amazon made it easy for me to look up the new replacement just by checking the midel number.I received the element in 2 days and it was very easy to install.Fit perfectly ,would definitely buy again

I bought this to replace the worn out heating element on my 40" Masterbuilt Digital Smoker, MES140. Fast shipping and well packed! The old heating element had small bolts welded to it which fed through the smokers back side, then small nuts tightened it to the smoker. This new element has threaded holes and you have to line it up inside the smoker and put the included small bolts thru the back of the smoker and hit those threaded holes. Had to have my wife come out and hold the element in place so I could put the bolts through. The bolts were a little large for the smokers' holes and had to drill the holes out another 1/32". The original ground wire connector's hole was too small for those new bolts, so had to go out and buy a $5 pack of various connectors and then splice the new ground wire. Appx 4 hour install, but that's better than buying a new smoker. The element works very well. Just plan on a little elbow grease while installing.

I bought a Master Built, John McLemore smoker from Lowe's a couple years back, It never worked right. The temps would vary 20 - 40 degrees and often would struggle to reach 200 degrees. Most of the items I was trying to smoke ended up in the oven in the kitchen to finish. It took 30 or 40 minutes to get warm enough and the meat take hours to get to the min safe tempture.Well...Things have changed! I ordered this hoping it would fix the problem before buying a newer more expensive smoker (that wasn't a Master Built) it took about 3 minutes to remove the old one (two screws) and install the new one. When I turned it on you could feel the heat in seconds, something the old one never did.I am smoking a 6.5lb pork shoulder and have been at it for ab out 4 hours now. I let the temp settle in at 225 degrees, it has remained steady the whole time. I'm thinking this solved the problem.NOW I get to use the smoker the way I had intended every weekend."I'll smoke that butt all day long..."

A perfect replacement for my Masterbuilt smoker. I use it at least once a week and so far it has performed with no issues. Definitely a well priced part.

Second time I tried to use it , made my GFI tripping. I checked everything but still keep tripping GFI. Practically I couldn't use it. So I decided to return it.

Used this on a charbroil electric smoker. Fit perfectly and worked. Much less expensive than the ‘official’ OEM product. Great value.
