I have a unique application for level sensing regarding my sump pump. Not only does the HydroCheck HC6000-PRO very successfully meet the challenge, the data output is outstanding and extremely helpful.

I enjoyed installing this product. For my installation, it worked great. I had a wall next to the sump pit and was able to design and 3D print brackets. Easy adjustments. Easy pump replacement.My hope is that this lasts. I know most sump failures are due to the switch on the pump. And this unit seems to have an internal relay ( I can hear and feel it click when de-energizing), so still a switch. My pump runs 4 times per hour for 45 seconds, and thats during a dry day. My son’s house had a float style Zoeller pump installed in an 18 inch wide pit. The short travel on the float switch meant that the pump would click on for 5 seconds or so, then switch off, and would repeat that short cycle. He was due for a new pump so we bought a new non- automatic Zoeller N 53 and this controller. It allowed us to spread the sensors out and let the sump fill up higher and pump it to a lower level, thus lengthening the cycle time and decreasing the number of cycles. The information provided on the screen such as pumping time, length between cycles, and pump amperage draw is an added benefit. Installation was a breeze, this controller is a great product that I highly recommend.

Best one I have found this this works great no guessing if the pump is working, even tell you how many amp the pump is pulling run time last time it ran and alarm if pump doesn’t start up.

I bought two. One for each sump. The one that the water softener drains into it has been a pain with the ground wire (weak ground) alarm specifically. The other sump with a steady supply of clean water has been working like a champ.

Installed about a month ago.I see three big advantages to this in my sump setup:Easy installationHighly variable range of how often sump pump is activated-determined by installer not factoryNice to have the various tests, alarms and measurementsMy sump pit is at the bottom of a 1' x 6' shaft. The sump itself is 3' deep and holds up to 200g of water. Previous systems have used less than 1' of the available range. The hc6000-pro allows me to fill the pit completely. This greatly decreases the # of on/off cycles-which should increase pump longevity. This alone made it worth purchasing. On top of that an electronic switch should have far fewer issues then the standard mechanical switch. All the other functionality is a nice bonus.

This was a snap to get up and running. I like the ease of setting top and bottom extents. I use to have to deal with a clamp and guess how much of the float switch wire to let out. It wasn't very accurate or easy. Now I can just slide the sensors up and down the pipe with ease. The information that is displayed on the head unit is very interesting. I never knew exactly what my sump was doing until now. There are various parameters that are stored in the unit. The backlite makes it very easy to read and a push button to cycle the information and set alarms. I have it scroll through all of the data collected like time to fill and time to discharge, cycle times. It will track the amperage of the sump too. This is a great device for me. My sump runs a lot.
