Twist'd Q - Sweet Heat Rub - American Royal - Lotta Bull BBQ

This is the only rub I use on pulled pork and ribs. The taste is amazing.

This stuff is the best. I used to be able to get it locally, but we live in a pretty small area and no more. So, purchase online. I do add a few things to it to make my world famous chicken wings - or thighs and then airfry. It's the bomb as a base! Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. Great flavor

This is probably my favorite spice at the moment and it's the first one I reach for. The only problem is the small bag (6oz) is nearly as expensive as this 13.75 oz rub pictured that is very nearly as good.Overall I like it a lot but my frugality may keep me from ordering again.

Tried this rub on a recommendation of a friend. Tasting the rub by itself made me think it was going to be all heat and no flavor. But this little trickster proved me wrong. Once spread out on the meat and cooked it transforms. While it still has Heat, that heat is an initial burst and then goes to a low background simmer. The sweetness comes through and leaves you wanting to take another bite. As you can see it makes a lovely bark when smoking chicken. The only downside to this rub is when you run out of the meat you were eating and still want more LOL.

This is the best brand of seasonings and rubs out there!! I do mix a few but I like this brand the best! This in particular is great on pork ribs! It has a definite kick though, so be prepared if you don’t like heat! I don’t think it’s spicy but others do.
