I've loved him for years....
I didn't realize how much I missed his cartoons until I came across this book mentioned on another website. I couldn't remember his last name - he was 'a nifty guy' I used to read on Lion's website. When I remembered him awhile ago, I couldn't find any links to his work on Lion, and without a last name I thought I was sunk. I was so happy to find this book: I got it the other day, and am pleased as heck to read his work again.

It’s a great gift for a knitter.
I love the humor in this book. It makes sense to a fellow knitter. The illustrations are cute with captions that hit my funny bone. I laughed so hard I had tears running down my face.

Habit hits my funny bone every time with intelligence
Mr. Habit hits my funny bone every time with intelligence , imagination and creativity. I resonate with so many of his stories about knitters and the fiber-obsessed. I am so happy with this book!

Here's what to read when you're frustrated with your knitting
This little book is a gem. Whenever I get frustrated with something I'm working on, I take it out again to remember not to take my knitting too seriously. One of the cartoons shows a husband and wife -- the wife with knitting in hand has just wrecked the house. As the husband quietly stands there, she says, "Because it relaxes me, that's why!" I know just how she feels! I can see myself and my knitting friends in so many of these cartoons.

Not as cool as I thought
I got it because it look fantastic and interesting, I was so excited when I got it and I started to read it right away..... then I realized that only the cartoons are worth it.All of the reading part is extremely boring an uninteresting, the author does not even make a try; to say that the "quotes" are the best writing part...And the cartoons are not that cool either. Some of them are really funny but some others look like they only wanted to put as many drawings as possible.I'll keep it because of the cartoons. Otherwise I'd send it back to Amazon.Don't waste your money.

Cute humor book for knitters
This is a darling book of cartoons by Franklin Habit, a talented artist on paper and in fiber. The book is filled with short humorous stories and fun yarn-related cartoons. Franklin has a great sense of irony that comes out in the endearing illustrations that accompany the stories. I think this would be a great gift for the knitter who has everything.

Perfect Gift
This is a lovely book - full of humour and cartoons for the knitter in your life (or yourself...if you ARE the knitter in your life). Franklin has a wonderful wit and this is a perfect book for those 10 minutes grabbed with a lovely cup of tea.
