Welcome back to Shadow Grove!
Finally a "strong female" heroine who lives up to her reputation! Hades isn't all talk, like a lot of heroines I've seen lately. She has the skills and mental strength to actually carry out her threats and run her empire. The only slightly unrealistic part of her character is how young she is - 23. I'd have found it more believable (particularly with her multiple university level qualifications) if she were at least in her mid-late 20's. But that's me nit-picking.I love seeing Cass back in action. He was one of the highlights in the Madison Kate series, and I'm really enjoying seeing a different side to him here. He's mine of acting like the asshole-character but he's nowhere near as bad as Archer was in MK which is a relief. Zed is one of my favourites, I adore his ride-or-die friendship with Hades. I feel like he's about to drop some feels soon, and I can't wait! Lucas is one I'm still unsure of. I feel like he should have seen the resemblance between Hades and her sister, since they're described as being so similar. He's also so innocent as Shadow Grove residents go, I'm worried for him.Mostly, I'm glad that none of the guys seem to be keeping extreme secrets from Hades. I got so frustrated in the MK series at people keeping unnecessary secrets that affect other character's safety. But these guys seem to have their heads screwed on properly, hopefully they keep making good choices.I also love the detail in Hades' empire. The day to day business and meetings with the gang leaders was written really well, it gave me J Bree vibes in her Mounts Bay universe. It has a similar feel with the multiple, secretive players on the board. I'm very intrigued as to the mystery surrounding who is after Hades. Bring on Anarchy!

WOW
So... errrm..I just don’t know what to write. I feel like this book is one of those best kept secrets and anything I say is going to be a potential spoiler, and guys, I just do not want to ruin this for anyone. So let’s start with Tate. Her writing and story telling is phenomenal. I didn’t think I could love another of her series as much as MK, but I clearly can, and I definitely do. Thank you for bringing us these amazing stories 🖤I feel like it’s important to emphasise that this is NOT a Madison Kate book. Yes she gets mentioned and you get a couple of glimpses of the guys, but this book is not about her or her story. It’s about the Timberwolves. We finally find out who Hades is! And I am totally here for it. Seeing relationships start to develop and change between them and... others.. also here for it.There is angst, chemistry, wit, action, suspense.. basically anything and everything that you would want in a book. This was one of my most anticipated reads of 2021 and it did not disappoint.

In awe of this phenomenal book!! WOW!
Defo going to try be careful what I say as to not spoil the book for any readers! This book has absolutely floored me. I have been waiting with baited breath for this book to release and what a phenomenal start to the series it was. Once again Tate has blown me out of the water with this outstanding plot and story, and I am already dying for more. The characters in this book are all brilliant in their own different ways. Bad, dark, sassy, cold and calculated, they were everything I was hoping them to be with the gang background already laid out.Hades was not who I was expecting them to be at all. I knew Tate would pull someone outstanding out of the bag for "Big Bad Hades" and that she did!! The relationships in the book starting to grow was great to see, along with the amazing backstory of mystery and suspense in the gang and growing warfare.MUST READ!I am obsessed with this book and cannot wait for more! Bring on Anarchy!!!

Devoured on Kindle Unlimited
I discovered this series after reading the MK series and I thought there was no way it could be better...WRONG!This storyline is frickin awesome, well paced and the interaction between characters is perfection. I love Hades and how we are introduced to them. Gummy bear is fantastic lol and I love Zed.I binge read these books and currently very impatiently waiting for the next Club 22.I hate cliffhangers but for this series I’ll gladly suffer.I’d highly recommend this to lovers of RH, alphaholes, and gummybear lovers.

Excellent story
Let me start by saying it’s really hard to review this properly without spoilers so I’m going to keep it brief.Hades is an awesome main character and her relationships with the other characters are all uniquely wonderful. The sass is real and the heat is 🔥🔥🔥. There are the twists and turns that you’d expect of a TJ book but in no way is it a predictable storyline. The little snippets of the crossover with the MK series was a nice touch.Overall another scorcher from Tate James and I am going to be impatiently waiting the rest of the series.

Wow! Loved it!
It’s very hard to write a review for this without spoilers, so all I will say is that this book surpassed all my expectations. I am a fan of Tate James, and I love being back in Shadow Grove, with her amazingly-written characters. However, I would suggest that you read the Madison Kate series first so you get a full back story. It isn’t strictly necessary, although I think it will increase your enjoyment, but this book will grab you anyway, and if it is your first book by Tate James, I’m sure it won’t be your last.
