Complete Finnish Beginner to Intermediate Course: (Book and audio support)

Logical topics and good flow. Largely focused on what a tourist would need to know, but still very useful for other language learners. The app for the audio is a little clunky but works well enough and is available via web browser as well.

Good option to start learning finnish on your own. Good explanations and methodology.

A very good method to learn Finnish

Ho acquistato questo libro per imparare il finlandese da autodidatta, ed è sicuramente molto valido e ben fornito. Spiega un po' tutti i concetti fondamentali a livello pratico, utilizzando prevalentemente molti esercizi e poca teoria, il che deve sicuramente piacere ed è una scelta soggettiva. A mio parere è molto efficace piuttosto che un libro di finlandese a livello universitario, pieno zeppo di teoria, che paradossalmente è inutile all'atto pratico e confusionaria (quanti milioni di italiani conoscono e pensano alla grammatica italiana quando dialogano? Veramente molto pochi direi, viene tutto spontaneo da anni di pratica!). Per il momento mi sento di consigliarlo, aggiornerò la mia recensione se ci dovessero essere problemi. Forse come unica nota negativa a volte mi sembra leggermente confusionario, ma dubito molto si possa trovare di meglio, con tanto di audio, sul mercato.

I knew a tiny bit of Finnish, which is an advantage. I was a language teacher, and found the instruction excellent. However, it is not easy, and you have to work at it. Using free mobile apps are good supplements, but do not explain the grammar like this book does. My only problem with the book is that the print is small and light. I found myself enlarging portions of it. I researched a bit and found this book highly recommended.
