Q: Would this work on motor oil like stains?

I do not know, but I do know that this is the best carpet cleaner I have found I would recommend it to anybody. I would put some Dawn dish soap on it and mix it with the carpet cleaner and try that. Dawn soap is supposed to be good on oil stains.

Q: how much do I need to clean a sectional?

I have cleaned 2 sections of my sectional and a reclining chair seat and have used less than half the bottle

Q: Would this work on chair cushion seats?

Yes I used them they worked nicely but I don’t think it would work if your stain is huge and old I guess.
