I had the privilege of meeting the founder and his wife at Erewhon Health Food Store. He told me how this lotion came about from a solution used on horses tired, strained muscles, how he thought if it worked on the horses why not try it on his sore muscles. It worked. Then his daughter, a tennis player used it on her painful knees and it worked. His wife told me how the ingredients were similar to some of the top skin care lines for premature aging and smoother skin. When they gave me a sample, it smelled so light and clean. I’ve used it ever since daily on my face and body and a bit extra whenever I have sore muscles. If I do too much computer work or yard work or a new work out…I use Rixx and it feels better, the pain eases up, and I don’t smell like menthol. My skin loves it. I layer a little coconut oil or shea butter on during the dryer months because of my dry skin. I keep a travel size in my purse too. I just use the smallest amounts to make it last. It’s definitely more than just a lotion, for me it’s a natural pain reliever and wrinkle chaser. I love it!

This is the best moisturizer! I use it for new tattoos and they heal amazing. Takes care of sunburns like crazy! Can keep you from peeling. Highly recommend

I like the ingredients so thought I'd give it a go. It works well as a moisturizer and I also use it as a deodorant. Nice smell that's not overpowering. Plan on ordering again.

I found this lotion several years ago in a Lassens store in Santa Maria. The creators of the lotion were in the store, promoting the lotion. They were lovely people and I could tell from their earnestness that they really believed in this lotion. So.....I bought some. I was sold. I have been using it ever since......the past 7 years....and my massage clients love it as well. It's therapeutic and it also has good glide, but not so greasy that I can't get a good grip on the muscles & fascia as needed. I am always happy with this lotion.

I have been using this lotion for well over five years, it's amazing stuff. I have a condition that requires daily lotion and this lotion is the absolute best! It's cooling/soothing/comforting/lightweight and absorbs well and quickly. Never greasy, never irritating, gently but effective, leaves no residue, just feels very therapeutic and effective, it's kept problem/compromised skin very smooth and hydrated and healthy, cannot recommend highly enough! (If anyone suffers from lymphedema - THIS IS THE BEST lotion you will find for that as well!) The cooling properties really work as I use it on my legs which have chronic inflammation and will be red and inflamed after a shower, once the lotion goes on, that problem is completely solved. I cannot live without this stuff!

I really like this moisturizer. It is light weight, non greasy and absorbs quickly into my skin. The ingredients are clean, and the scent is mild and pleasant.

I don't like using pharmaceutical or over the counter medications for my pain. This lotion has given me the ability to reduce or eliminate pain naturally. I've used it on my knees, shoulders, lower back for sciatica, and even sent a bottle to my sister for carpal tunnel. It has never disappointed me!
