Truvue 4 Inch Diameter Magnetic Work Plate With Rubberized Magnetic Base: MC104

This is a nice little work plate, it's a lot smaller than I thought it would be, but that's a good thing! The magnet is super strong, and the color is very rich. Pretty slick.Delivery of this took forever, it was shipped directly from the seller. It took so long that I actually forgot about it. When I did remember, I contacted Amazon to see what the deal was, but instead of trying to figure it out, they just gave me a refund. Which is cool and all, but I felt bad for the seller who didn't have a say in it. A few weeks later, I got a package with a handwritten label on it, and a sticker that said that the original packaging had been damaged and was repackaged. So I guess that was the reason for the delay. Just wanted to put that out there, and thank the seller for a great product.

Why would you want a screw holder the same color as your screws? WHY WOULD YOU WANT A SCREW HOLDER THE SAME COLOR AS YOUR SCREWS? Of course you wouldn't ! I ordered the red Truvue Magnetic Work Plate from ToolUSA on a Friday afternoon. It was mailed out the following Monday and I received it 8 days later. Initially I was concerned that DHL had no record of the the tracking number. In retrospect, I discovered that DHL turns the package over to USPS for final delivery. All of the tracking history was available at USPS, but none at DHL.As you can see from the photos, the top diameter measures about 4 1/4 inches. The flat bottom inside of the bowl measures about 3 inches. The bowl weighs less than 6 ounces. The magnet is a ring about 1 3/4 inches in diameter embedded into the rubber bottom. So the inside magnetized working surface is also a ring about 1 1/2 to1 3/4 inches in diameter, a bit smaller than the inside label. The magnet is very strong and will easily hold the bowl upside down on a metallic surface. It's probably good that the sides of the bowl are not magnetized so that objects drop down into the bowl instead of sticking to the lip. The firm rubber bottom looks very protective, but actually measures about 2 1/4 inches in diameter, not 4 inches as in the description. The label came off easily with a hot hair dryer and did not leave any residue. I have to believe that it is the same bowl as the ACI 387909: ACI 387909 Magnetic Parts Tray I just received the bowl today and I think it will be excellent for computer builds, small electronic repairs, and similar uses. I just wish that the inside magnetized surface was a bit larger, though it may not make any practical difference in use. I noticed that some of the larger rectangular magnetized trays use the same magnetized rubber bottoms, they just use a pair of them instead of just one- at least, that's the way it appears. Anyway, It looks to be a well made product and I highly recommend it.

Wow the power of this dish is over whelming. I use it on my craft table so I don't lose tiny dies. putting one in my RV to hold all that stuff I keep losing.

Bought this for my craft room. It hold tiny dies perfectly so they don't get misplaced while I'm working with them.

Perfect for my straight pins on my sewing table which I have spilled before...with this dish no more spilling
