Pretty simple - OEM stock - best price I could find and it bolted to my 97 F150 4.6L without any issues.The compressor comes with the locator pins and everything lined/bolted right up. I had my system evacuated at a local shop for $20.00 and a few hours later was evacuating and refilling my system. The only issue I ran into was removing the original compressor. Getting to the old A/C compressor was a major PITA. A frozen bolt, a trip to two dealers for the non standard replacement bolts, 6 hours later and an angle grinder to cut through the old case , it was out. 30 minutes later everything was bolted up and I was evacuating the system.Nice cold A/C again for less than $250.00.Update: 2/2/2015: compressor and system are still working like day one. I'm very happy with this compressor.

Bought for my '99 F150. Installed myself along with new dryer, condenser, oriface tube and flushed out the evaporator. Its blowing colder then when it rolled off the factory floor. Lowest I have seen it is 36 degrees. Bought it in May of 2020 (such a good year right?) and if it dies an untimely death I will update this review. Otherwise you can assume that I am shivering in my truck.

Compressor is strong but the clutch could have used another shim as it squeaked like a whalling banshee

Thank you very much for the speedy delivery and very competitive pricing. Both the manifold and the compressor has been installedand works perfect.It was a big plus to be able to purchase a OEM product and have no worries if the parts would fit or not.

The clutch went bad on the original ac compressor on my '97 F-150 5.4L. For the price and since its new I figured I would just replace the whole unit. I am glad I did. It works great. This comes with compressor oil already in it. So you just have to drain the old one and read the directions on how much to remove from the new one before installing.
