Henry James/JVP 180-11/900084 Dry Vacuum Cleaner, 8 Litre, 620 W, Yellow

Works brilliantly. Suction is very strong, it lifts small mats but I don't mind as that's what I wanted for my large carpet. Very light, easy to take around, long cable is brilliant. Some people said the tubes were kept falling apart while vacuuming. The first few times I used it I had to figure out how strongly to push the tubes together so that they stay that way. Since then I never had any issues this. Vaccum bag is huge, easy to remove and replace.

we purchased a Dyson dc40 a few years ago and have never been happy with it, basically it works but gets blocked at the slightest hint of anything the size of a penny or hair, anyway i got sick of it and bought this fella, its amazing, its quiet, but so powerful, i used it on my car and i can see why car valets use this vacuum , its almost too strong, my wife isnt able to use it as the suction is too powerful on the carpet that she cant move it.Okay so i have to now do all the vacuuming but our house has never been so dirt free.

Brilliant vac, a bit more compact than Henry and slightly quieter than my old Henry but that would of been before numatic started fitting lower wattage motors to comply with the EU rules. Having said that still plenty of suction, the bag space is about 1/2 to 2/3 off Henry.The cable reel on the top is effectively like wrapping your garden hose round an old car wheel on the wall. There's no retraction mechanism or winding handle.All in all a good vac, quiet enough you can still hold a conversation.

Excellent vacuum I have had Henrys forever now, 3 I think over the last 20 odd years. I love them they are easy to use and store with excellent suction. I have a larger house now so decided to get James, mainly so I can have somewhere to carry attachments, which works well but I don't like losing the automatic cord winder 😩 in a perfect world I'd have both facilities. I love the fact that this machine is soo quiet compared to my last machine. Overall I am happy and can thoroughly recommend James!

Powerful hoover, sucks everything, even the thinner carpet runners that I have, but the suction power can be adjusted so that is easily solved. With two long haired humans and one very white cat shedding all over the place, it does an exceptional job of keeping the carpets clean. I have it for about a year now and I am still very pleased with it. The cute face is a bonus, makes you feel like you're not doing the cleaning on your own. :))
