Basic delay functions benchmark. Thumbs up!
Small, efficient, no frills, great function. If you’re new to pedals, it’s perfect. Huge palette of options to toy and experiment with, in the audible delay. But, there is a pretty large amount of ambient tonal shaping similar to reverb, that can be achieved with more subtle settings. A great tone tool for a more pedal involved player too. From reverb like ambience to slapback to dotted 8th.More specific to myself, I find that I use only the mix and delay knobs. I find the regen to be very sensitive and difficult to control. I keep it rolled completely left. Essentially the range the other 2 knobs have is worth the price.. eventually I’ll figure out the regen. It is running alone through the effects loop of my amplifier. I still give 5* as I cant fault the pedal for my inability to use it, right?Overall, if you want to be able to modify the values without bending over and rolling the knobs, this is probably not the pedal for you. You’ll need a larger pedal with more inputs and capability. No tap tempo capability on this pedal. If your in need of a wide tonal range, fun, very small, delay to expand this is a great option. Also a great tool to learn delay in general, you can use this to learn how you want to use it and what you would like to be able to do. Use that to determine the next upgrade and the features you want in it. Then this mini Carbon Copy can be used together as a static set for specific delay settings, and/or stacked with a more feature heavy delay. Its MXR, build quality is on point.

Great! I wish it had just ONE more feature though....
Great tone! Incredible space saver! Extremely versatile!.... this is replacing my Way Huge Supa-Puss (cuz it was Way Huge on my pedal board!) so naturally I wish the MXR had a tap tempo feature similar to the Supa-Puss... Can't have everything! A solid buy regardless!!I'm not getting rid of the Supa though cuz [if space saving wasn't an issue] the Way Huge is WAY MORE FUN AND VERSATILE TO PLAY WITH!!

Good Delay but Unfortunately Too Noisy for Me
I want to like this. The effect sounds great..... but there are two separate noise issues that it has introduced into my chain. I am 100% certain it is this pedal. I may try the full sized version or I might go a different route altogether. It's a shame. I like the sound.... but I don't like noise.

Good sounding mini Delay pedal!
I like the small size of this pedal for my Pedal train Nano rig, it sounds nice and warm, the modulation feature adds a nice subtle chorus to the delay, and is enough that I don’t need a chorus pedal on the board.

Not True Bypass
Its MXR version of Hardwire Bypass that kills this pedal for me. Totally sucks my tone from a rig that was built for maximum tone. Gunna be a no for me, dawg.
