Update as of July 2018: I'm still using this bag as my everyday purse and outside of needing to restitch one of the shoulder strap loops to make it sturdier after it frayed several months into being use, it's held up wonderfully. I have nothing bad to report after 16 months of daily use!------------I'm writing this review after two days of use so the question of its durability is not completely answered (I usually give items a few months of wear before I give a definite judgement on that end or if there's a problem, I update as soon as it presents itself).I found this while looking for a new purse to replace my everyday bag (which still works fine, but is starting to show signs of wear and I don't want to use it until it's falling apart at the seams, you know?) and thought it looked even cuter than the one I use now. For $21 dollars, it seemed like a worthwhile risk.Now, I don't know if this is a "knock-off" bag (as in some other place has the "original" and this is a copy made cheaper and sold cheaper) but I do know that this is definitely in the realm of "cheap trendy fashion made in China." But since the last bag I got from that vein of the fashion world actually performed and held up extremely well for what I paid (which was just $11), I thought the risk was worth it since it was shipped through Amazon with free returns.This is about the same size as my other bag (which is a knock-off sailor moon cat bag by Samantha Vega) but because this bag is a different shape and doesn't have the flip over top, this bag is much more roomy! It comfortably fits my cellphone (LG G5), my wallet (a flat, long hinge wallet), my house key, my earbuds, a tin of mints, lip balm, hair ties, a pen, and my change purse with ample room to spare. I can even fit my kindle into it! (can't zip the bag, but it fits alongside everything else!). I don't carry much, but I prefer having a little more room than a little else, just cause that makes it easier to get things out or put things back in. I wouldn't say this holds a whole lot, but if you're like me and you're mostly just carrying around a wallet and phone with a few little bits and pieces of stuff then this is a great option!There are a total of four pockets. Two are on the outside underneath the ears and two are inside the bag; one is open, with a faux leather lip, while the other zips close. This bag also, obviously, has two handles on the bag and has rings on the sides to allow for a shoulder strap--which is included and is all faux leather except for the adjustment thing and the clips at the ends--to be added. There's also a zipper sewed onto the top of the bag that allows it to be closed without sacrificing any of the bag's natural space capacity. The bag doesn't have any metal "feet" on the bottom, but my bag appears to have enough structural integrate to stand up properly even when empty, which I like a lot! (my other bag had to be propped up; it was too heavy in the front and toppled over). The inside liner of my bag is a brown satin sort of fabric with a rose pattern. The rest of the bag is made of pleathr/faux leather (which I know because it arrived smelling distinctly of new plastic; sort of like the smell of new shoes) despite the card saying it's leather. One thing I do want to mention though is that the edges of the bag are more of a dark brown than a black, which isn't a problem for me but it is noticeable if you look at the bag from a close enough distance.Overall, the bag feels pretty sturdy! I don't have any fears about my stuff not being adequately protected from whatever may come while it's hanging across my shoulder. I wouldn't try to like toss this down the stairs or anything, but in my hand it feels nice and from what I can tell after examining the bag all seems to be in order. The construction of it looks like two pieces of the pleather sewn together with a linger inside the pockets. It feels like it has some cardboard sheets in the flat panels of the bag just to help keep the shape. The hardware looks find and seems strong enough to work for the weight that would typically be carried in this bag. I wouldn't try to abuse this bag, but for the everyday use of hauling around a few key items, I have every confidence it'll hold up very well! It's overall much better than my other bag and if that one can last 18 months before showing any major wear, this one should have no trouble doing the same.I don't really have any complaints about the bag! I really love it. It's cute, it's functional, it suits my needs, and it was cheap. A definite recommend unless something happens in the near future that kills its longevity. I'll update the review in a few weeks time and then in a few months time to let everyone know how it holds up to the test of my everyday use.
