Americanflat National Park Adventure Board Game for Family and Kids Ages 7 & Up, 2-6 Players with Artwork by Anderson Design Group

I researched a number of National Parks themed board games as a gift for my wife and family before deciding on this one. I chose it for a number of reasons: it seemed suitable for the age range or our children, it has both beginner/normal and advanced rules of play, it's a mix of chance and strategy without being too complex, and I really liked the artwork. Essentially, I wanted a game that captured the beauty and wonder of the National Parks that our whole family could enjoy. We've played the game multiple times in the week since Christmas and we really like it. My kids love the animal tokens (which I knew they would) and we all enjoy the artwork and trivia. The game is a good mix of chance and strategy and is easily accessible for younger players. There are enough different actions and cards to introduce many possible scenarios into the how the game plays out. Some reviewers have complained the game is too simple. I disagree. If you're looking for an intense, complex strategy game, this probably isn't the one for you. But if you want a family-friendly game that offers both interesting play and interesting facts about the National Parks than this is a great choice. Some reviewers have critized that answering the trivia questions correctly or incorrectly does not effect game play. This is only true for the beginner rules. In the advanced rules, answering a question correctly can make the difference between collecting a valuable card or even winning the game. This game is adaptable to different skill and NP knowledge levels and the artwork on the board and cards is great. Definitely worth having if your family enjoys playing and exploring together.

I gave this as a Christmas gift to my man. This game is visually stunning. The animal game pieces are gorgeous and realistic. It's easy to learn but also has the trivia aspect to keep it interesting. It's so fun to learn about the parks and animals that live near them. (We love going on on road trips and exploring the great outdoors, but in the long winter months it can be a challenge to find ways to keep the adventures going. This game is awesome!!)

With the great interest in travel and visiting National Parks, there are a number of games out there. This is one of the best I've seen. It's colorful and informative and plenty to keep the family interested. A real hit!

The game itself was of great quality, easy to learn, and fun to play. Also very informative! However, when I opened the box to play with my guests, the one die (dice) that is supposed to be included in the game was NOT there. Obviously, for the price of the game, I was very disappointed! We opted to use a dice App on my daughter's phone. Still not thrilled that it was not included in my game box upon arrival.

Excellent game, enjoyable to play. Educational questions and answers. Beautiful pictures and board. Game can be won by anyone who plays.

It was educational and my grandkids loved it. Great for traveling and camping for trailer evenings

It would be good to help children learn about national parks and it's wildlife. Not thrilling as a game by itself.
