It's shorter than you'd think/want it to be.Although it holds plenty. It's very clustered together. I was hoping for a longer bar to hold winter coats but everything is just bunched together on around 18 inches of bar.

I'm always looking for space saving/storage ideas & options because we have very little closet space. This was an easy, nice-looking accessory for my sons room. He'd been asking for a hat rack for his growing collection of baseball hats. This one was perfect.
