BasalGuardz(TM) LG Nexus 4 Ultra Clear Screen Protectors (3-Pack) [BasalGuardz Retail Packaging]

Just installed the screen protector tonight. Was easy and no bubbles... Whew! But... there are no protectors for the back glass of the phone! that will scratch as easily as the front. Also, the protector doesn't cover the entire screen. It's about 1/8" short and if you don't get it EXACTLY centered, the protector will not adhere to the edge of the glass because it is curved. so, mine is about 1/16" off to the left and the entire left side of the protector is not on the phone. Just floating in the air. this will cause the protector to get dust under it and prematurely fail. I'll update this post after I use the phone for a while to let you know if it the screen protector easily scratches (like the one I bought off of ebay). Look for a protector for BOTH SIDES OF YOUR NEXUS 4. that way, if anything gets under your nice case you also bought, it won't scratch the back glass... I left my factory protector on the back until I order another set of protectors.Good luck! Awesome phone. Can't wait until I can install Ubuntu Mobile Phone on this phone... There are zero scratches on the screen protector and it works very well.

The screen protectors arrived very quickly thanks to the fulfillment by Amazon Prime. The item came very well packaged in a thick, durable card-stock like envelope with no dents or bends. The protectors themselves are rather good for the money in comparison to the high end screen protectors from SGP or the likes. The installation is typical of dry install protectors, so make sure you are in a relatively dust free room and be careful on your first application. Screen clarity does not seem to be affected, and having three in the pack is certainly a bonus if you mess up the first time. As the other reviews mentioned however, the protector does not cover all the edges of the Nexus 4 due to the curved glass, but I do not find it to be very bothersome thanks to my TPU case which covers the edges anyways. I would recommend this product as of now due to the lack of other brands of screen protectors.

If you have a case that covers a large portion of the glass on the front, these may work for you. I do not however and there are large gaps between my case and the screen protector as there is a large amount of glass uncovered all the way around the phone.Pros * Comes with a cleaning cloth, cardboard stick to wipe bubbles out and clear instructions making installation simple. * Each sheet is covered on both sides by an easy to remove protective film.Cons * Does not cover the entire phone. * Since this is a dry application it can be very difficult to keep little particles of dust from ending up under the sheet and after they get under there you'll be hard pressed to get everything smooth. Make sure you listen to the instructions when they say "dust free environment"From what I read most people eventually end up with a Skinomi so I'm going to try one of those next.

I was surprised that these were so clear (for the price). And I love that there are 3 in a pack.There is a cut out for the front camera & speaker - but not the sensor - but I haven't noticed a problem with the sensing.One 'complaint' that I seem to read in most reviews for the Nexus 4 screen protectors (no matter what the brand) is that it isn't as wide as I would like and although it covers the screen that lights up - it does not go from edge to edge of the phone. This doesn't affect the usefulness - but is a minor annoyance (hence 4 stars instead of 5). Once I get a cover for my Nexus 4, I'm sure I won't even notice! :)

I ordered these and applied one to my screen and was very unpleasantly surprised to find that it was anti-glare, with an obviously hazy appearance....not ultra clear at all. Otherwise, I loved the fit and cutouts for the sensors and speakers. I wanted a protector that would NOT go to the edges (This one does not), because I don't want to run the risk of my case peeling it off. Had no other recourse provided by Amazon but to receive a refund and ship them back. Please advertise correctly, as I very much wanted a 2-step screen protector such as this that was actually ultra clear.UPDATE: I returned the protectors discussed above and ordered a replacement set. Pleasantly, these protectors are perfect. Just what I was looking for. They are ultra clear and leave a gap around all edges so that my case doesn't peel the protector off when removing or attaching it. Sorry we had a mix up the first time.

Pretty standard screen protectors except the left and right edges don't actually stick down. I'm not sure if this is a design flaw or intentional. I installed 2 of the 3 on separate phones and it happens on both of them. Without a case, I would imagine the edges would get caught in your pocket and eventually peel. It is ultra-clear, the screen isn't "sticky" (i.e. finger slides freely), but a bit shiny for my taste. Not bad for the price

As much as I love Armorsuit, this protector works better with cases on my Nexus 4. It is not cut flush with the edges of the phone, so you don't have to worry about bubbling edges. They still lift a little every once in awhile, but the bubbles are extremely easy to smooth out. This protector is smooth to the touch and scratch-resistant. All the proper cut-outs are present, so no issues with sensors and such. I recommend it.

The screen protector that I'd had on my Nexus 4 kept peeling off where the case fit over. This leaves a gap, as other reviewers have mentioned, and doesn't peel from that. However: I also installed at the same time a case that doesn't extend as far over the front, so the top and corners are pulling off some. So it's a good thing it's a 3 pack!
