I was hesitant at first because there weren't many reviews for or against, but I purchased the ENGINO-Stem Mechanics Gears and Worms set for our 9 year old grandson and he loved it. He is into anything with gears and STEM related that is creative, sturdy, makes more than one project within a box, and actually works; this was a hit! It also arrived very quickly, in great condition, and will be enjoyed for a very long time. I will most likely be buying some of the other sets available from ENGINO-Stem so that he can learn about other mechanics and build even more.

It is a great gift to a child that likes to builds and to understand how things work. The quality of the kit is very good, it is definitely made for the use of children. It didn't brake even when it got a little "rough treatment"

Love this set! Bought it for my 8yo son and he needs no help putting any of the builds together. A good challenge for kids that enjoy building things.Would definitely recommend.

I especially like the free iPad app "Engino KidCad" which has 3D rendered step-by-step instructions that you can rotate the view and zoom in etc. My 8th grade STEM students love building the different structures. There are several similar kits you can buy, but I especially like the ones with moving parts (like gears, cams and cranks) with exception to the pulley kit which requires cutting and attaching string components which do not have instructions in the KidCad app.

I was happy to find something similar to an Erector set for a gift. I don't know about the quality, as I did not see it being opened or used.

I got this for my sister (adult) to build as a distraction from doing coursework in her PhD or to calm a restless mind late in the evening. She has so far enjoyed assembling various designs (trebuchet, ladder, etc.) and placing them in odd spots around the house. Given the age target, It's relatively simple to build and the instructions are very clear. All in all, I think this is a well-designed toy for all ages.

Directions were a little hard to understand, and the one item that he wanted to make the directions were not included.

I bought this for my 9 year old son. He loves building things and trying to figure out how things work. He has built almost every project listed in the booklet and he has already looked on the internet to see what other versions of the kits they have so he can try other ones. Love the fact that it keeps him busy and is learning STEM skills at the same time!

Son muy buenos, pero son un poco duros, por lo que no los recomiendo para niños de menos de 8 años o niños que se aburran rapido, hay que tener un buen rato de atencion para armar algo o un espacio en donde dejar todo y poder volver un dia despues.

I bought this for Christmas to my nephew (he's 7) and he loved it: it was challenging but not complicated and managed to do it all by himself. Nice gift :)
