Excellent product, outstanding customer service
I purchased this product in January of 2014 and have been extremely happy with it. I use the pickup to mic different types of wood percussion, such as a cajon. It comes with different mounting options making it easy for me to switch from one instrument to another. The pickup sounds crisp and clear, no noise, and is very well-built, with a volume knob that enables quick adjustment of, well, volume, on the fly in live situations. Really works great for me.Now if the pickup deserves 5 stars, then Myers customer service probably deserves like 6. I can honestly say I have never had such a positive experience with any business before. Last week I plugged in the pickup to find out it was emitting an usual static sound. I assumed it may be due to a dying battery, having used the pickup with the original battery since first purchasing it over a year and half ago. Problem was I did not have a spare battery to check, and I was kind of stressing as I needed the pickup for a show two days later. So I figured I would email customer service - quite frankly without high hopes. That was at 8:31 pm; by 8:43 I had already received a response from Gregg Myers. After a few "checkups" Gregg simply offered to overnight a replacement pickup to me, at no charge! Note that we're talking about a product I had purchased almost 2 years ago, and which for all I know might not even have been defective in the first place (if a battery issue indeed). This is pretty much incredible. Man, way to stand behind your product. In sum, you can't go wrong with this purchase. It's an excellent product and Myers outstanding customer service will most certainly keep you a happy customer.

Outstanding pickup that performs as advertised!
I purchased this pickup to replace a sub-par Audio Technica condenser mic that cost me a bundle. The Myers pickup proved to be a much more effective investment in terms of performance and value for amplifying my cajon. It has amazing reproductive tone quality across a broad spectrum of high- and low-end demands with no noticeable feedback issues at all. The mounting dexterity of the pickup is also worth noting for multiple instrument applications. Customer service is stellar. When I called about a concern with a loose tightening nut for the suction cup mount, Gregg, the company founder/owner, personally returned my call to relieve my fears that I had done something wrong when I opted to change out the suction cup for the "gripper" clamp. Now that's the type of customer regard I haven't experienced in years from any company. I can't recommend more highly this pickup or the company that stands behind it!

Great Product and Service
While surfing the web trying to find a decent full range microphone for a Cajon drum, I came accross this device. I read the description and watched the video. I noticed the satisfaction guarantee and decided to go for it. It shipped that evening and was in my mailbox in two days. Upon hooking it up and playing through a quality P.A. system, a noticable hiss was emitting from the monitors and house speakers. The device worked and picked up the Cajon drum quite nicely. It was just that hiss had to go. After attempting several tweaks to fix it without success, I emailed Gregg Myers (Creator of the product) that evening. First thing in the morning, Gregg called me on the phone. He was very concerned and was very animate about me being happy. He said it's not about the money, it's about your satisfaction. It was decided that the unit must be defective and he told me he was sending me another unit. Two days later it was in my mailbox. I hooked it up again and this time no hiss. The unit picks up all tones and reproduces them perfectly from the Cajon drum. We also tried it with Conga's and an acoustic base guitar. Awsome sound reproduction! I honestly would not expect this kind of quality sound from such a small and relatively inexpensive device. I spoke with Gregg again later that day and he offerred to put a few bucks onto my PayPal account to cover return shipping of the defective unit in effort to find out what was wrong with it so he can ensure it won't happen again to future prospective buyers. Phenomenal customer service and a Phenomenal product. Don't waste another minute, just click buy. You won't regret it.

Very easy to use
Full range of sound without feedback. Very easy to use. The only downfall is that the suction cup does pop off the cajon. I put the mic / pickup inside the cajon on a pad. Sound even better there.

Just get a floor mic
I tried multiple settings (e.g. fixtures, placement) and amps but this just doesn't provide a 'sound' advantage to a plain floor mic. I was really excited about this product but the multiple times I have used it I cannot get the amplification I need from the device. The other downer is you need to have tools with you if you find yourself at a gig and find out the battery died. I definitely bought this because of the great reviews (here) and then had an excellent purchase experience from the buyer directly. I hope other people have better results. I am buying a floor mic.

Astonishingly good sound, ultra-convenient form factor, superb customer service
I bought this to use on my Schlagwerk cajon, which I had tried recording with a variety of mics, including a Warm Audio WA-47 and a Sennheiser MKE 600. The Myers outperformed them all for accurately reproducing the cajon. I have a bunch of the Schlagwerk "add-ons," including a side-mounted cabasa, a Heck Stick (for hi-hat sound), and a Dyna-Crasher. The Myers pickup captures the sound of each with amazing fidelity—I honestly couldn't believe how this tiny device could do it. And that's not to mention the convenience. You just plug and play, without having to carry and set up a separate mic. To top it all, I had one small issue when I was first figuring out the optimal placement, and I called up the customer support line. I got Greg Meyers himself on the line, and he was as helpful as could be. All in all this was an absolutely great buy. I would recommend this without reservations. ps. I do not work for Myers and neither am I a family member ;)

Muy bueno.
Pues gratamente sorprendido.
