AMAZING! You will not regret trying this!
I have been recommending this to all my friends panicking about tick season. I am a KY girl living in DC currently, and just bought a home in AL. While in AL we mowed the lawn and cleaned up some property and were cover in the tiniest deer ticks. We even had the yard treated before this and the lawn and cleanup was not overgrown at all. Just basic lawn care. After trying a few recommended things I turned to Amazon and found this. IT IS AMAZING.We treated ourselves, the dog, and the clothes we were wearing for 3 days of yard work and NO TICKS AT ALL. I thought maybe it was a fluck until my little girl got undressed for her bath and 3 ticks were on my floor from her clothes ( she had changed outfits and I had not sprayed this one ) there were still no ticks on her and they had zero interest in her.The smell is like lemon grass and once it dries you aren't sticky and you don't smell it. This stuff is AMAZING!ALSO reminder THE ONLY way to properly remove a tick is to pull it out quickly. Do NOT put oils on it, do not paint it, no nothing to block it air way (in its rear) it will regurgitate its stomach contents inside of you and you will be at higher risk for illness and diseases.

Tested in Northeastern North Carolina
I tested this on two different days. We have had terrible ticks this season. It's the worst I've ever seen.Yesterday, I covered my legs, shoes and cotton socks in TICK BAN. When I was applying TICK BAN, I considered the idea that the cost may not be worth it if the amount I was applying was what it would take to keep the ticks off.I went for a two hour bike ride. I pulled off three ticks from my legs. two of them had already bitten me.I hate to leave bad reviews, but this product clearly DID NOT WORK for my activity and my area.

Safe and effective tick repellent for dogs
This stuff is fantastic. I was looking for a dog-safe, effective tick repellent since apparently all the parks in my area are absolutely infested with ticks. We don't go off the trails; my dog just sniffs along the weeds and bushes along the edges of the path, but he was coming home with 10-12 ticks at a time!I do use a monthly flea and tick treatment, but it only works once the tick actually bites. Using this, I occasionally found 1-2 ticks and they were usually on his head, which doesn't get as thoroughly covered with repellent, since I spray it on my hand, then wipe it on his face rather than spraying it there. But that's still way better than going without! It doesn't smell terrible. My dog's not thrilled to have it applied, but he doesn't put up too much fuss about it either. Haven't noticed any sensitivity or other issues, even when using it daily.

It really worked
I’ve had this spray since October but I had never used it until this weekend. It’s April and I live in MA, I went hiking 2 weeks ago and I took my pup with me, that day I removed 7 ticks from him after coming back home, I did not used this spray, I didn’t expect it to work. This weekend we went back to the same place, I thoroughly sprayed him with the spray and placed a bandana around his neck also after spraying the bandana. Same trail, not a single tick on him and it’s been 2 days, I haven’t been able to find a single tick after brushing him. The only conclusion I can come up with is that this spray really worked. I highly recommend it.

I’m very disappointed as it wasn’t cheap
I’ve used this twice now on my kids and both times one of them has gotten a tick. I applied it liberally and re applied every couple of hours. I’m very disappointed as it wasn’t cheap!
