CVPKG Presents Pelican iM2750 Replacement Foam Set. Complete Foam Set.

I used it to pack a very sensitive telescope and it worked great! The only downside is that the removable pre-perforated foam squares may be too easy to remove. While it was super easy to customize the perfect fit for my equipment, that also meant that it is not sturdy with repeated packing and unpacking of the equipment. I can see that after repeated use, other squares are falling out, making the foam less secure around my equipment over time. In a year, I will need another set, or perhaps I can glue the foam together for a longer lasting fit.

Thought I was ordering what was pictured. 6 layers of Pick-n-Pluck foam inserts. I got 4 layers of pick-n-Pluck. The 6 layers would have been perfect for what I needed. The case I have had 4 layers of the thinner foam inserts (2layers were lost somewhere), so thought I was getting the 6 layers (what was pictured). With the thicker layers, I will have a lot of wasted space, or I have to figure out how to split the layers with a smooth cut, and without it looking like a hatchet job. I'll probably have to buy a hot knife to cut them. Luckily I do have some extra foam to use as testing material. I'm just not very happy that I now have a lot more prep work before I can use them.

Pick-n-pull is not cheap but worth it
