I love this hutch
I love this hutch!! All of the hardware is included, items arrived undamaged and it was easy to assemble.I actually bought two. Both are for guinea pigs that are of opposite sex and need to be separated. One pig is 1250 grams and the other is half that and both have ample room to live. The tray is a bit of a hassle. When pulling it out to clean the bedding jams in the front and overflows onto the floor. Kinda defeats the pullouts purpose. I've lined the bottom of the tray with waxed paper so I can reach over the top and just roll it up and toss. After that I pull out the tray for a more thorough cleaning. Also, the bedding and hay spills out the grates so I'm going to create a barrier edge around the cage to keep it in.It would be great if it came with borders instead of me having to create one but this issue doesn't deter me from loving the cage overall.I opted not to use the wooden pieces for the floor of the house part of the cage. They weren't water proof so would probably end up stinking after a short while.I skipped installing the 'hydraulic' arm for the top lid. It stays up by itself so I saved a few minutes with assembly time. đVery functional, nicely priced and looks great! I would recommend.

Cage smells and leaks
I had to return this cage. It leaked urine all through the cage and the feces gets caught in the wire. It had a constant smell as it soaked in the wood as well. I love the style but itâs just not practical.

Awesome Hutch for my Dwarf Bunny
Awesome Hutch for my Dwarf Bunny. He absolutely loves it and so do we. So easy to assemble and it looks really clean and awesome anywhere inside the house. There are two different openings on the top of the hutch for adults to access and a side access for the kids. Plenty of room for a small animal with a perfect little space for the animal to sleep when they want too. Really easy to clean and is made very well. I would strongly recommend for someone starting out with a small pet especially a dwarf bunny.

Very Pretty But Leaks and if Kept Inside Will Destroy Your Floors
This is a beautifully made product but unfortunately, not working very well for us because there is no lip and clearly no seal on the tray as our rabbit's urine leaks out multiple times per day. I'd suggest putting it outside on a covered patio but with the wood/paint being left unsealed as well - that's not an option as it would clearly not handle humidity well at all. Considering the price I would buy it again, but if you so choose - be prepared to deal with leaking urine every single day.

Nice roomy hutch
This is a nice, roomy rabbit hutch although it does have a couple of cons that I remedied, Pros: for the price, a nice sturdy hutch, much nicer than the wire cage I bought previously from a pet store where the legs keep coming off. Also it's very easy to assembly; my husband did it in 30 minutes and he usually gets frustrated when trying to read directions, but he said this was one of the easiest things to put together. The hutch fits nicely in the corner of the dining room and would work for a child's bedroom too (Don't recommend outdoor use because the wood is not treated).. Cons: The waste tray is also the bottom of the cage which I didn't like. I would have to put the rabbit in the house and try to keep him there if I wanted to clean the tray. So I bought some inexpensive wire from Lowes and stretched the wire across to make a floor. Then I took two boards and screwed them to each side of the legs to make a slide for the tray. It works great this way and the tray cleans up easy with a hose and some detergent. Of course, because it's wood my rabbit likes to chew on it but I stapled some wire around the rim and the inside of the house to keep him from chewing his way out, My rabbit loves his little house, goes there when he wants to be alone!

Not for rabbits!
My husband purchased this because we adopted a 2nd bunny. The hutch was fine while the bunny was small but now that he is 7 months old it's way to small for him and he's a dwarf lion head bunny. Also the wood around the hiding area the bunnies chew on. The other bad thing about this product is if you want to put a litter box in there is no room. I put a litter box in that takes up a large area of the cage because urine soaks the wood area where they use the toilet.

Very cute. And worth it!!
I loved it. But due to it being wood, eventually my bunnies ate it and I had to dump it. But it was a cute piece in my apartment and easy to use, and easy for my children to handle too!!

Terrible!
This hutch is terrible! The pull out tray Youâre supposed to be a convenience, however, it is a big fat mess! The animals are sitting in their own waste! There is no mesh/chicken wire suspending them from the tray. Not to mention, the tree is so shallow that you can barely fit enough shavings to keep the animals comfortable and dry. When you do use the pull out feature, everything gets stuck in side so you cannot even clean out the tray efficiently. This is a terrible design! I would very much like my money back! Considering I found a bigger more efficient hutch with a mesh bottom and pull out tray at our local farm store for the same price Not to mention, the tree is so shallow that you can barely fit enough shavings to keep the animals comfortable and dry. When you do use the pull out future, everything gets stuck in side so you cannot even clean out the tray efficiently. This is a terrible design! I would very much like my money back! Considering I found a bigger more efficient hutch with the mesh bottom and pull out tray at our local farm store for the same price.
