Great piece. Sad design flaw.
I really like the look and feel of this keychain. Heavy feel and one solid piece, this item is very handsomely crafted. The finish wore well, becoming smooth and shiny in areas where the patina wore off... this only added character to the piece. It surprised me very much when this item didn't last very long.It does, however, have an unexpected design flaw. Bought in March, dead by the end of August, this keychain lasted only 4.5 months. The spine area drilled to accept a keyring wore through surprisingly fast. There is not a lot of material in this area, and the thin metal was worn out quickly by friction from the steel keyring which held it. The only weight ever placed on this keychain was it's own, as it swung independently on the ring.Great piece. Sad design flaw. I'm almost willing to buy this again, but there is no reason to believe the new one would last any longer.Well, Hephis. Consider this item field tested. Thank you for your time.

Pretty Happy
I'm pretty happy with this. I was very hesitant to spend 15.99 on a key chain. I'm not big on key chains to begin with but I needed something to differentiate my two sets of keys. This thing is a beast. It's noticeably heavy! Solid made. I think I've managed to scratch it a little; things like dropping it on cement; but that can be expected for beating it up. I haven't tried to cut boxes or tape with it but I have opened bottles with it. Opens bottles no problem. You definitely notice when you drop your keys with this thing. I'm pretty happy with it. No complaints, can't think of anything I'd request changed. Also, it's pretty flat. Doesn't bulge in your pocket.

Very cool box/bottle opener
This is about the coolest box opener on the market. We purchased this for a reward for a young man in our office and it was perfect. It is just the right weight and really does help open those boxes. Bottles too if you are in to that, lol.

Cool key chain
This key chain is solid! It’s just the right size;not too bulky. I also think the design is pretty cool. A few of my coworkers commented on how cool it looks. I don’t really need the bottle opener function, but it may come in handy one day.
