RevantReplacement Lenses for Oakley Bottlecap sunglasses, Polarized Options, Anti-Scratch and Impact Resistant

Just purchased these last week to replace my original Bottlecap lenses. Overall the general observations here are correct about how these compare to the original Oakley lenses. These fit into the Bottlecap frame, but not nearly as snug as originals for two reasons:1) About half the thickness of the original lenses, and2) Protruding "nubs" on each side are shaped slightly different than the original (more rounded tip), which prevent it from seating into the groove as deeply. This is obvious if you hold the old and new lenses back to back against one another.Both of the above cause the lens to "rattle" in the frame, and also make them more prone to fall out, either during sports or while trying to clean the lens with a cloth. My solution was to put a dab of hot glue into the corner of the frame before inserting the lenses. This solved both issues, at least for the time being.In terms of lens quality, they seem clear and free of defects, and are darker than the originals. Note that because they are thinner, they will likely provide less eye impact protection during sports (one of the things Oakley highlights about their lenses).Overall these replacement lenses work for me because I only use these sunglasses for driving, so they are a good value. If I was using it in a more active environment, they would be rated lower despite the lower price.

Despite being thinner than original Oakley lenses, they fit snugly enough within the Bottlecap frame, they don't rattle, and I don't believe they will fall out as some have claimed. The lenses provide excellent clarity and appear to filter UV and reduce glare better than my original Oakley lenses. At $32 the Revant lenses are less than half the cost of Oakley replacements. I usually replace my lenses every two to three years due to scratches so I'll have to see how these hold up with its anti-scratch durable coating. Although there are cheaper lenses available, I am very happy with these lenses and price.

While these fit in the frames, they are not as good as original Oakley replacements.This is the third set of lens I've had for these frames: original, Oakley replacements, and now these.They feel very loose in the frames. I feel they are close to falling out. I'll give them a little time to see if they tighten up.At 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of real Oakley replacements, I should have suspected they wouldn't be as good.

Great lenses. They are noticeably thinner than the standard lenses when in your hand but when installed into the frames they fit perfectly and even lighten the glasses by a bit. So far they have held up well and have worked great.

Perfect. My sunglasses look like a new pair. I just ordered lenses for two other pairs.

Definitely worth it over the stock replacements at less than a 1/3 of the price. I have bought 3 sets of various shades and would recommend all of them.

the simply fact is,they dont fit the oakley bottlecap frames. they are to thin and rattle in the frame.

Die Gläser sind absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Die Dicke der Gläser stimmt nicht mit den Originalen überein, somit klappern die Gläser im Gestell. Auch die Gesamtmaße entsprechen nicht dem Original, dadurch sind sie sehr lose in der Fassung. Teilweise fallen sie bei normalen Gebrauch von alleine heraus. Die Polarisation ist auch mangelhaft. Beim Betrachten von meinem Handy ist alles gut, aber sobald das Handy um 90 Grad gedreht wird, ist nichts mehr auf dem Display zu erkennen. Keinerlei Kaufempfehlung!!!

Le lenti si adattano perfettamente. Ottima protezione ai raggi del sole. Adatti alla vita aperta. Certo non sono le originali ma le consiglio.

Cual ha sido mi sorpresa que al sustituir las lentes de mis Oakley por estas de sustitución,me percato que no son iguales a las originales.Estas lentes de Revant son mas cortas y claramente mas delgadas,dando aspecto de frágiles y por lo demás se adaptan con dificultad a la montura de la gafa,,lo dicho,una gran decepción.
