Wife has a new rack
I purchased these for a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe. These are exactly what I needed, you will not get the perfect fit and look that you would get buying OEM but you save over 1/3 the price and these still look very nice and work well. The instructions for installation are pretty vague. On the vehicles rail you have 6 (3 on each side) finish plugs with hardware attached to the vehicle, you use the back four, do not use the front two, also it tells you to add a nut on top of existing hardware inside the existing rail and this is not the case.

Great rack with bad instructions
This rack looks great and seems really sturdy, the only issue is the funny large washers that come and the instructions insistence that you need them.I have a 2021 Hyundai santafe and the large washers don't fit because there's a nut at the bottom of the roof bolts. However this isn't an issue as the screws for the roof rack installed just fine without the large funny washers.

Great Value
This product is what I was looking for, a set of sleek cross bars for the roof of my wife’s 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe. The instructions are not written the best, but if you go in order and read each step, you’ll do just fine. When installing, you need to remove the factory nut & washer in order for the “feet” of the bars to attach firmly to the rails. Removal of the factory nut & washer is not listed in directions, but you can’t install the bars without removing them as the supplied hardware will not fit properly. I read other reviews before purchase where other purchasers didn’t do this step and had issues. I also found that adjusting the bars to make sure they’re even on both sides of the car was easier after the “feet” were secured to the rails. The initial install took my wife and I about an hour. It took me about a half hour at most to switch them around the next morning by myself. Make sure you put the longer bar up front. Prepping the rails for install takes some time, so that’s why I was quicker installing by myself, no rail prep.I was able to tighten the provided hardware to satisfaction. Not all my screw posts in the rail we’re centered in the holes, so getting the hardware started took patience. My only negative is the plastic that’s include to fill the void on the underside didn’t fit. The void needs to be filled to eliminate wind noise/whistling while driving. In the last step, you’re supposed to slide plastic strips in the underside of the bars at the ends, mine were too wide for the void. I used a few pieces of duct tape, didn’t whistle.A couple days later, we put our cargo carrier on top and hit the road for adventure.

Excessive Wind Noise
I purchased the Brightlines heavy duty crossbars for my 2022 Hyundai Santafe because they had a higher load limit than others I compared them to. Unfortunately I was unaware that the Brightlines crossbars would create louder wind noise than crossbars I've had on other vehicles while traveling at freeway speeds. They are good crossbars if you don't mind the wind noise.I did not put them on my vehicle until a couple of months after they arrived so it was too late to return them.

Aerodynamic, not creating extra noise
Installation is kind of permanent, not a snap on and off like I had on my Sienna. Before winter I'm going to uninstall it.Its light, sturdy and looks good on the roof,The price is excellent comparing $500 Thule rack

Not fully compatible with 2021 Santa Fe.... they lied and now my car has bolts with stripped threads
I have a 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe. I dont know how this crossbar fits on other year models, but this is not fully compatible with the 2021 model. It is evident to me that these people did not bother trying this product on the 2021 model before fraudulently saying that this is compatible with 2021 Santa Fe. The issue is with the connecting bolt. The instruction clearly says that after removing the cover tab, to insert the washer and M8 bolt coupler. After which, the nut portion of the coupler should show up almost flush with the rail, as shown in the instructions. Well, following this instruction stripped the thread from the bolt attached to the car when I was tightening the coupler. The thread on the bolt that is attached to the car doesn't extend all the way to the top. Thus, only a very small portion of the thread can grab onto the coupler, and it rips out when you try to tighten it. The instructions fail to mention that you need to remove the nut that is already in the car bolt so that there is more thread to grab onto. But if you do this the coupler is not long enough to securely attach the crossbar itself. So now, I have damaged bolts on my car rail that's going to cost me to replace.

Good racks
I like the look and the design of the racks. They whistle pretty badly compared to other designs. Fortunately, the Santa Fe is fairly insulated.
