Q: Is this tree like the picture? It looks like branches hide the center pole, but in review pictures it looks like a different tree??

The branches don’t cover the intire pole. However they do have the the same material wrapping the center pole. Kinda like o rings.

Q: Can the tree be used outdoors?

I wouldn’t use it outdoors. It’s tinsel so if it’s wet the little pieces will all stick together. And the base is metal so again if it gets wet it might rust.

Q: How many pieces does the branch portion come in?

2, I believe. Top & bottom. Very narrow tree and worked well for my location.
