TuffRiderMen's Ribb Patrol 4 Pockets Knee Patch Breeches

I really like Tuffrider breeches. They have a lot of options, and are not crazy expensive. But these were quite baggy, which I don't like. But I washed and dried them in very high heat, and now they fit perfectly. Nice thick ribbed material, but not overly hot. Perfect for spring and fall riding.Update on sizing: I got these in white (the pair reviewed above), black, and tan, as they are very durable and great to wear for doing barn work before I ride. The black fit perfectly from the start. The white were fine, although still a bit loose, after I washed and dried them in very hot temps...they did shrink a bit. The tan are still too baggy, even after trying the hot washing to shrink them. I'll keep them for winter, as they may be fine with thick long johns underneath. So I like the breeches, especially if you want durability, but the sizing is all over the place.

I bought these pants after my new riding instructor said I shouldn’t wear jeans anymore. I have been riding exclusively Western Pleasure for 10 years and have never ridden English. As soon as I wore these pants, I was told I had to ride English!! So I was forced to take an English lesson and unfortunately loved it. So now I have to learn a whole new riding style, darn it. I mean, these pants are incredibly comfortable and fit my fat back side very nicely. They are great but I feel they should be coming with a warning that wearing them Will lead to writing English style. I’ll probably be buying another pair of these pretty soon!!

I ordered these pants a size larger on purpose so they wouldn't look like I was wearing tights (a man has his pride). They fit like a size too large and so I accomplished my goal. These are the most comfortable pants I own, riding or otherwise. The ribbing of the fabric is pronounced, even more so than corduroy, but I can live with that. I've worn the tan pants while cub hunting and like them so much I'm ordering a pair of white ones for the formal season. Not being made with cotton, I expect them to not stain as badly as my other white pants, but we'll see. They look like they will hold up, but since I've only worn them on three rides, I'll have to see.

These were delivered hurriedly to my home in order to replace my old pair of ripped breeches. They arrived hours before a lesson so I was able to ride in them right away and I have to say these are SO comfortable to wear, they're almost like regular pants. The pockets are huge, and the buttons are out of he way enough that it doesn't poke you in the saddle. The fabric is tight, but not too tight like women's breeches seem to be which gives you room to sweat a little and not feel like you're contstricted and it's not hard to pull them off. Though I'd have to say the bottom part of the pantleg is a little tight and somewhat hard to pull off if you don't do it right. Other than that I'd have to say these get 5 stars and then some. Would order again!

Of all the pairs of riding pants my husband owns, these are his favorite! He has two pair and he wears them almost exclusively now. He says they are very comfortable. They are stretchy enough, but not too tight or too loose. They stay in place in his boots too. Great pants for the price!

Initial review: For male 5'-10" and 223 lbs size 38 fits pretty much well. Usually, I am buying pants W 38" L 32". Delivery on time. I will update this review soon after using product in the field.

Breeches are fairly comfortable. They dont breathe as well as I would like. In a short guy (5'5") and the knew patches sit way too low on my legs to be very effective. The thighs are really spacious and I find that even with a belt these breeches just slump and move around a lot. They are a good pair of breeches if you are looking for something that you dont care about if they get damaged or messy. Definitely not show quality. I found they ran pretty true to size.

Great valueThese pants are great value for the money. The material seems to be high-quality and is held up after several wears. The fit has not become stretched out and the color quality is still present.

They fit big which is great, had to return and order a smaller size. The return was easy and quick.

They are ok. Would be better if they had a full seat version.
