We decided that the checked bag process at the O'Hare airport has just gotten so out of hand in regards to both time and money ($50 for you to rummage through and maybe even lose things I already own? And I even get to wait half an hour in an extra line to check the bag and then another while waiting for it to appear on the magical carousel when I get there? No thanks.)Without these realizing the dream would not have been possible. These were amazing. I was able to fit a week's worth of cloths into the medium and I put my bathing suit in a small just to keep it seperate. And I had plenty of room for everything I needed in a backpack and laptop bag. My husband even had room for two pair of cargo jean shorts in a small and still not sure how he did it but otherwise they would take up half his backpack on their own. They were easy to use both before we left and even while we were in the hotel room packing to go home on the fly.A couple tips though, make sure you open all the valves with your fingers (there are included instructions) or you'll be there all day popping open the zipper side of your bag when you try to let air out.If you are bringing cloths that are easily wrinkling try to leave them in the bag as little as possible and make sure you have an iron if you need to look business ready because your cloths will wrinkle.I also elected not to bring any underwire bras because I'm pretty sure this would turn the wire into a pretzel. (But of course if you're determined you could still pack some separately.)

These bags are really fantastic. They do what they say and do it well -- I was able to increase my clothing packing by more than 50% by using these bags for a week-long trip packed into a single carryon. I cannot say if they will last but the price point of these bags is inexpensive enough that I think they are a good value. Would give 5 stars if the warranty and free bag offer applied to customers in US (only applicable to UK buyers).Note: Follow the directions, and especially loosen the valves with your fingers before rolling up the clothes and roll slowly. This made a big difference in how easily the bags worked (if you do not loosen the valves and roll too quickly, back pressure will open the bag up at the wrong end). It just takes a little patience to get the technique and then it's v easy to get a great outcome.

Was such a huge help on a recent backpacking trip. Traveled with only a 40 liter carryon bag and these were absolutely essential in maxing out space in my bag. Fit roughly 7 undershirts 5 socks and 5 boxers I to one of the larger bags... Rolled the air out.. And the whole thing lay nice and flat taking up only about an inch of real estate in the pack. At this great price, it's worth picking up a set for yourself to use now or later. They WILL come in handy.

Excellent product. Works great either when rolling the bag or when compressing it with your body on a hard surface. Locking tab is very secure. My wife and I use these on motorcycle trips and they are pretty good. I would caution any buyer that these or any compression bags will NOT compress as much as advertised.....no bag will give you 50 percent more room than packing without compression bags., so don't count on carrying 50% more stuff either in your suitcase or on your motorcycle.

They work as advertised and do get the air out, but they are too thin. In my opinion they are good for a one time round-trip. The plastic thickness is less than a standard Zip-Loc bag and if you put any clothing with a metal zipper pull, and if you don't pack it correctly, then it will rip the bag.I will use these bags, but will not order again and would recommend travelers to look for another solution.

These do what they are designed to do, as long as I was careful with them. I used them for a 1.5 week trip, and was able to keep everything in a single carry on suitcase. However, the night before my trip I ripped a hole in one of these as it caught on an edge of my bag. I'd rather buy a more durable one next time, as I was constantly worried I'd break them. The first use is challenging, because the outtake nozzle isn't separated, and does not open up easily.

Bags are a bit difficult to use without the help of someone else, at least for me---because the air holes dont stay open by themselves so trying to roll and open these with the other hand proved to be a bit difficult in the beginning but over-all love how much more space I can get while packing! =)

Kind of hard to use at first, but they are pretty helpful once you get the hang of it. I thought they would get a little more compact than they did. But they really helped me on my trip. And I made it through TSA security without a hitch. So I'm happy overall.
