Works great
I bought this to fix the drive shaft boot at the carrier bearing on my 2008 Ram 2500, worked perfect. Also works good for tie rod boots. Holds better than zip ties.

Works great!!!
Good deal for sure! Pliers are good, not snap on quality but good enough for shade tree wrenching; clamps that come are good! Works great for doing garage jobs.

Did the job
I bought these for one project that recommended them on my truck. The clips were smaller than my OEM parts I had removed. The clip was kind of hard to crimp and would pop off several times when I went to line up the crimping tool on it. BUT, it eventually did the job. The finished product needed a little tweaking with a mallet to lay flush. Works well. Looks good. Clips are adjustable in size and there are plenty. Did the job.

Good bands awful tool
The clamps themselves are good. I had to trim two of the larger ones to fit my Cv boots. The crimp tool is horrible. Thankfully I have better crimping tools. I couldnt even crimp one of these using the tool it comes with. Went straight in the trash

This kit saved me a ton of money and trouble!
My “new” (to me) SUV failed inspection due to a leaking CV joint boot. I bought a new half shaft and was getting ready to go through the hassle of replacing the shaft when I saw this kit on Amazon.I watched several videos before I decided to try this kit over replacing the shaft. When I removed the old clamp, I saw that the problem was that whoever rebuilt the prior cv joint had not seated the boot in the groove correctly before installing the clamp.Of course, I added cv joint grease before reseating the boot and installing the new clamp that came with the kit. It was a breeze, and I didn’t even have to remove the wheel; I just jacked the car, threw a Jack stand underneath and chocked the rear wheel for safety, and five to ten minutes later I had a properly sealed cv joint boot with a new clamp! Of course, it then sailed through inspection and hasn’t leaked since.I’ve been working on my own cars for decades, but this kit is so easy to use, I’d say that anyone could do it.I’ve always figured that I could buy the tools to repair my cars for less than the cost of the labor and the parts markups, and I’d end up with the tools for future use and the satisfaction of doing the jobs myself. The savings from using this kit over paying someone to replace the half shaft would easily pay for some CV joint grease, a good floor jack, a couple of jack stands, and wheel chocks. On top of that, you’d be left with several spare clamps for future use, although they’re not that commonly needed.I highly recommend this kit!

Worked perfectly
Another that maybe a full time mechanic would want an upgrade, but not the occasional user. Tie rods need a medium band, but the large can be cut and fit correctly.

Junk mid matched clamps
Save you money the tensioner doesn’t work with clamps provided and the crimpers are junk although I was able to use 2 of the clamps provided but the crimpers almost ruined the clamps anyway save your money
