A great sushi book for a home cook
If you have never made sushi before, or perhaps want to go a little beyond making very simple tuna or salmon hosomaki (the small cylindrical ones!), then this book might be for you. As well as recipes for constructing the sushi, there is also information on preparing the rice, seafood, etc. The instructions are clear and there are a good amount of pictures, which are a key part of a recipe for me!

Not enough photos
Beginners need visual guidance. Not every recipe had photos to accompany them. Recipes that did, didn't necessarily show the end sushi. Disappointing in that respect. Other than that, the recipes I tried were good.

Beautiful and useful!
Bought as a gift and was very happy with it - had a cheeky leaf through before wrapping and was impressed by the contents so much, I didn't want to part with it.

A great recipe book
This is a great book on making simple sushi dishes. The instructions are clear and concise and the illustrations are superb. My husband, who has visited Japan in the past, said just flicking through it made him want to go back to Tokyo. I've already made the seafood Futomaki and can't wait to try out the other recipes.
