Feng Shui Quick Guide For Home and Office: Secrets For Attracting Wealth, Harmony, and Love

I like Carol Olmstead's Feng Shui Quick Guide. The book is arranged in a very friendly manner. All unfamilliar words and principles are clearly and concisely explained in short chapters. By focusing on "The Five Power Principles" of Feng Shui, the book flows in an orderly fashion through the basics. Bulletted lists, charts and drawings help the visual learner solidify the concepts of Chi, The Five Elements, the areas of the Bagua and Yin and Yang. Smart Lady, Ms. Olmstead dedicates Part Three of her Five-Part book to Clearing Clutter, an under-acknowledged topic in 3/4 of Feng Shui books out there today. Part Four (my favorite) provides an entire year of daily feng shui tips. Just when you thought you knew it all, Carol comes in with fresh ideas and insights that will keep you going back to the book all year long! Dispersed throughout are snippets from the personal lives of Carol's clients and their glowing success stories. This book sounds like Pyramid Feng Shui to me, but Olmstead does not refer to it as such. She kindly provides an overview of different feng shui schools and terms her version "Feng Shui for Real Life." Fun and inspiring, you'll probably want to read this one more than once. Two thumbs up...

I used to be a Feng Shui consultant; I'm now retired. I read about this new book and thought it would be a good one to brush up my Feng Shui with. (I already have about 50 books on Feng Shui.) I was very pleased to find that this was not just a re-hash of all the other books. It is a really good synopsis of the important points in Feng Shui, in a style that is easy to understand and apply. The author as done us all a real service in writing this one.

So excited when reading this book, that I started moving items around in my home immediately. Tried to learn Feng shui several times before, but too complex. This book made it easy and is for American lifestyle and decor style.

I have found the philosophy contained in the book insightful and have applied it to my home. I can see some changes but am not knowledgeable enough to know how to apply all that I have read.

Tips n Tricks mentioned in the book are fairly well. I balanced the color combinations in my living room just as a test. Worked fairly well. The Living space is much more inviting than before.Definitely will recommend it to a friend. Gifted one to my brother for as one of the HouseWarming gifts.

Book was well packaged and arrived promptly from the seller. Book itself was okay, a good beginners book.

This book has helped me in so many ways,to enjoy the benefits of Feng Shui you have to have a open mind,it really helped me to let go of some things I have been hanging on to and be able to have more space! So many wonderful things in the book! I am hooked!!

What an amazing Feng Shui book!! Great for Feng Shui novices and even professionals like myself. There is a wealth of information in an easy and digestable format, with the added bonus of the 366 Feng Shui Tips which are just amazing and will help anyone Feng Shui their life in super quick time. This is another Feng Shui book I would recommend for everyone's library.
