Perfect space saving lens hood!
Just what I needed.A flexible, adjustable and durable lens hood. No longer need those hard plastic hoods which take entirely too much space in my camera pack. This little beauty simply pulls over your lens like a sweater and does not affect lens threads, leaving said threads available for your lens cap, unlike the competition.Tight enough to stay on and flexible enough to install, it folds forward or backwards, in graduations, to accomodate short or long focal length lenses. Just pick the right size.Shipping was very quick, and its sold by a small company in the USA.One of my better purchases.

Great idea, lousy execution for what I received
I really wanted this to work and watched several videos, read the good and bad reviews and decided to take a chance. It’s a brilliant concept.Out of the package my hood was squished, the open end was oval, oblong, and floppy. It wasn’t easy to place on the 56mm lens and more challenging on the the 67mm. The end flare of the hood couldn’t get circular. Back it went.

Too floppy, doesn't stay on
I use a lot of vintage lenses for which there were never lens shades created or were binned by previous owners years ago, so, I thought that this would be a helpful accessory. Unfortunately, it doesn't want to stay attached to most of the lenses, covers the aperture or focus rings, and flops and gets into the edges of the photos.

Useful for my Canon G7 Mark II
Sure, if I had actual lenses, I'd get an actual lens hood. But I have a point and shoot and I've had trouble with sun and rain. I bought this to see if I could get in on my G7 without having to mount something to the front. Worked great. It was bent and too floppy when extended the whole way so I deducted a star. But it was longer than the lens when half way extended and did exactly what I needed it to do. Stayed on well too.

Light, pliable, and efficient
I shoot birds through windows, and landscapes through planes, let alone mannequins (through windows) in downtown Los Angeles. This Kuvrd hood gets rid of the refelections, is light easy to put on and off, is easy to store, and can replace a traditional plastic lens hood which sticks out whether you want it to or not. Easy to pack and store, not very expensive. I got a the small as it covers the majority of my lenses and easily moves from one to the other. Fast convenient shipping. This purchase was a no brainer.

Arrived misshapen; required artificial correction
The product is not round as advertised and too flaccid to reshape.Fortunately I discovered a carefully measured electrical tie behind the outer lip will provide enough rigidity to maintain shape. a better fit to the camera is achieved with an old step-up ring adapter to 56mm I had and fixation there of its UV filter. The inclusion of all three at a fair difference would make this product a much better deal.

Quality Collapsible Hood
I've now had the opportunity to use this hood a few times and I am very pleased with it. I'm really not a fan of the hard plastic lens hoods, but do often need a hood. So, this really fits the bill for me. It is made of pretty thick silicon and seems like it will hold up well. I can collapse it and put in my back pocket and go.I also have some universal lens covers from the same folks that I am very pleased with. My photography budget is pretty small and I don't like to carry a lot of equipment, so KUVRD's products really kind of fit my style (and budget). I have even received a hand-written note apologizing for shipping delays that I really had not noticed. All-in-all, I'm very happy with company and their products.

The negative reviews were right
Using the word "universal" is pretty far fetched in this case, particularly the first lens I tried this on was from Viltrox and I basically had to mount it to the focus ring because there was no other way to keep it on. It is time consuming to get it right. If you want something collapsible the way I did, just do another search, they are out there. On top of everything, the hood was just straight up deformed, I spent some time trying to correct it by putting it on a round mason jar heating and cooling it but you can't fix something that has been manufactured this poorly. They really should have used 2 types of silicone densities in order to make this function correctly. I understand that the base needs flexibility in order to stretch but you can't have that same flimsiness towards the front of the hood which ends up causing vignetting.

Hard to use
I'm not sure what the manufacturer means by "fits 99%" if lenses but this hood did not fit a single standard Canon lens without creating one issue or another.1. Extremely tight fit around the lens, leaving absolutely no room for the lens gears to move freely.2. Putting and removing the hood is extremely difficult, cannot be done on the fly as it's rubbery texture makes it hard to adjust.3. Material is weak, mine had a rip in it after trying to fit it on a Canon 70-200 and this is after handling it very carefully.Overall this product fails to deliver the promise by the manufacturer that its easy to use and fits lost lenses. It is very difficult ads, don't even think about using it in high speed situations. And when it's on, it's extremely difficult to adjust.
