Well designed case
I had a previous case which was fine, but it was bulky. I found that I did not use the computer in tablet mode without the keyboard, which really defeated the purpose of having a tablet. I went looking for a case that would be less bulky yet provide protection for the tablet without the keyboard. This fit the bill and was a reasonable price. When I received the case, I was delighted by the thoughtful design. I have owned many phone and tablet cases over the years. Most are pretty generic. The designer of this one really thought about how people use the case. The kickstand has its own case. That is a clever way to address the Surface design. The designer thoughtfully put small handles on the case, so it is easier to use the kickstand versus the standard tablet. Very clever and thoughtful. The pen holder is so much better than the usual loop or other types of pen holders. It is large enough to hold the pen firmly in place. Because the case is designed to work with the keyboard, the designer added a rubber piece to secure the keyboard when it is closed. Again, this is a value add to the tablet on its own. Most cases are pretty generic with just differences in size and cut-outs. This one is intentionally designed to add value to the Surface Go. It shows that someone really thought about the hardware and how to solve needs that most are not even aware of.The bumper on the case is solid and appears to offer great projection, which is why I bought a case. The other design features, though, take it over the top. I definitely will check out YouTec first in the future for my case needs.

Good rugged protection for the Surface Go 2
Since the Surface Go 2 is very portable, I’ve been using it a lot and bringing it everywhere causing some accidental bumps and close calls. So, I decided to get a rugged case that will still give me easy access to the sd card at the back. This case got the features I need, and I like the clear back cover. So, I bought it.The packaging is nothing fancy, just a plain box with simple branding. Out of the box, this case is separated in two parts, the main case, and the cover for the kickstand. Installation was super easy and quick. I love the rubber edges, it gives very good protection against bumps. The keyboard rubber retainer is a good feature to prevent the keyboard from being accidentally knocked open. The overall feel of this case is very satisfying, it gives you a good grip on the tablet when using with one hand, but not too bulky nor heavy. All the ports are accessible, although the surface connector access is a little tight for the OEM charger, I need to give it a little push in order to charge. The power and volume buttons need a little more force to engage, but it is still ok. I like the frosted glass finish of the back cover, it showcases the beauty of the back without compromising protection. I don’t use surface pen a lot, but the pen holder is good to have in events when a stylus is more optimal to use than a keyboard.I love this tablet case, it may not be the best looking case, but it gets the job done really well protecting the tablet. In terms of protection, this case is excellent, if you like the looks, then you won’t regret buying it.

Sturdy build. Possibility of issue of not-charging.
The media could not be loaded. Pros:- Good build quality.- The rubber and plastic blend well together once installed. The plastic cover for the kickstand doesn't close on the Surface Go on its own, but it fits perfectly with the rubber case. It even snaps to secure it in place.- The pen holder may feel a little too tight at first but it just takes getting used to.- The cut and space alloted for the type cover is just perfect. The type cover closes flat on the screen and can be secured by the corner clip.Cons:- The corner rubber clip that's supposed to hold the type cover in place only holds its own corner. (See picture) If you hold it at an angle, the other corner partially opens up. It's not that big a deal to be honest. But the space can let in random objects that can damage the screen when you put your Surface in the bag. Most especially if you don't have a screen protector installed.- If your screen protector is the tempered glass version (the thick one) like mine, and you hold your Surface by the edge (when using tablet mode, during presentations, or when reading) then the rubber edges that grip the screen somehow push in on the screen protector and lifts it ever so slightly. It doesn't cause your protector to come undone, but the air bubbles become quite noticeable. Though they return to normal when you use laptop mode.- The groove in the rubber edge for the charger cord is a bit too thick. You have to remember to make sure to check that the charger light is on when you connect it. Otherwise, just a slight change in the angle of the cord will cause the magnet tip to unattach and therefore not charge your Surface.

Breaks the hinge, DO NOT BUY
After a smashed screen on my surface GO, I thought "not again!" So when I got a 2nd hand surface GO2 this looked good in theory, but the hinge cover removed most of the maneuverability - would only go to 90 degree angle. Then my daughter tried to bend it past 90 degrees and one of the hinges snapped out. I watched it happen, wasn't even that much pressure behind it... So much for protecting the device >:(
