CAP BarbellFlat/Incline/Decline Bench

Bueno para comenzar me anime a comprar este banco el 13/12/2017 por el precio relativamente barato para mi, lo encontré en descuento y pague 899 por el, ademas como soy prime llegó al siguiente dia en la mañana por lo que para comenzar todo bien.Pros:1.- El precio2.- El material se ve resistente, es un banco básico pero por el precio vale que costó.3.- El armado al llegar el banco te puedes sentir abrumado porque viene completamente desarmado, pero en verdad el armado es mas fácil de lo que parece.Contras:1.- No es tanto un contra pero para personas como yo que mido 1.80 el banco puede ser algo corto pero nada del otro mundo, solo ajustar unas posturas o bajar un poco mas para que puedas estar mas cómodo a la hora de realizar tus ejercicios.Notas:1.- El armado me tomó aproximadamente 1.5 horas siendo cuidadoso en el armado y leyendo bien las instrucciones para evitar armar algo mal y tener que desarmar.2.- Para el armado necesitaras 3 llaves de diferentes medidas para apretar las tuercas.Comenzaré a utilizar el banco y cualquier update del banco lo postearé para que demás compradores puedan tomar una mejor desición a la hora de hacer alguna compra.

ASSEMBLY:Probably the best assembly instructions I've seen in a long time. It comes with a card with all hardware clearly labeled. Then page 5 of the manual comes with a breakdown of the parts so you can easily lay them out for assembly. It was a joy to put together and took a little less than half of an Eagles, The Very Best Of album.They say you need two adjustable wrenches, a hammer, standard and phillips screwdrivers. I didn't need any of that, although you could assemble it with two adjustable wrenches if you had to, I didn't. What I used, which made it very easy to assemble was a metric socket set; an M13, M14, two M17, and two M19 sockets. As well as two ratchets. You could hold one side of STEP 1 E; with a M17 wrench, pliers, or adjustable wrench, tighten it with a ratchet on the other. But I prefer a ratchet on either side as it makes it easier and faster for me. Also STEP 2 B is the same method except with a size M19.Also Step 1 A: The unit came with this already done. Step 2 A; the first two sentences were already done as well. Then Step 3 E: says to lubricate Foam grips (#16) with water. This really works. They went on easily once I put a little water on my finger and ran it down the inside of each of these.Complete step 1 and 2 with the bolts just finger tight so there is plenty of play in it to get the others to line up easily. Then after all of Step 2 go back and tighten everything up before starting Step 3.USE:The backrest is about 2 inches too short for my head. With my feet locked behind the foam feet tubes, the back of my head is not supported well by the backrest, the crown of the back of my head is just over the backrest. I'm 5'11" so if that's important to you it may be too short for you. But I only lock my feet behind the feet tubes when I'm doing ab work, and it's not imperative that my head rest on the backrest. For all my chest work, I can slide my kiester down to the top foam tubes, then my head rests on the backrest. If they had a backrest that was just 6 inches longer it would be great for people up to about 6' 5". The footrest base folds in so you can easily move it or store it. It's very easy to adjust the backrest to the four positions. It appears and feels solid, like a bench that will be useful for many years to come. My old bench that this one is replacing did not appear as sturdy as this one and lasted over 20 years.CAUTION: Use of this item as a clothes hanger or dust collector may result in added flab around ones middle, arms, and chest.

Very well made, durable materials. Yet compact. Good engineering. Probably the best "abdomin" bench I have ever found, and a great price, too. Handy racks beneath to hold 1 set of dumbells "off the floor" when vacuuming (keeps things neat). Good, solid foam rollers (I suggest you spray inside with WD-40 lubricant BEFORE trying to put on the tubes, to reduce effort--otherwise, they would stick). Only "bad" part about this product is the relatively large number of parts (bolts, nuts, various size washers, etc.) required to assemble. Not impossible to handle, but be prepared for some "careful" instruction reading. Take your time and be patient when assembling; it WILL all go together perfectly. TIP: Save yourself needless struggle by using a *SOCKET WRENCH KIT*. Otherwise, it's a hassle to hold the lock-nuts on both sides with 2 wrenches. A socket wrench makes assembly much easier. Glad I found this bench. Very STABLE and good abdomin workout (crunches + situps in a single bench). Remarkably SMALL in size, easily fits into an apartment. CAUTION: I am 5'6" tall. If you are TALLER than me, this bench would not work for you, because your head would hang-off the pads. So, if bigger, you'll need to get a LONGER bench somewhere. But for me, it is just perfect. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

En general está muy bien el banco; llegó completo y parece bastante resistente en relación a la descripción del fabricante.El único pero que le pongo, es que la barra superior, donde se colocan los cojines para las corvas de las rodillas, se fija únicamente con la presión de los mismos cojines, puede sentirse un poco suelto, sería recomendable que ahí se colocara un tornillo.Fuera de eso, viene completo, es muy fácil de armar y trae su instructivo y hoja de advertencia, al igual que su hoja de garantía del fabricante.Hoy lo estrenaré seguramente.

Took a while to ship but arrived in one piece. Easy to put together although a little smaller than expected. Still works great though. Does no collapse super flat either... not sure if it will even for under the bed as hoped. Still good value for the money though.
