Still using this today, it's perfect for gaming and just anything in general.

This is a great feeling keyboard that was very simply packaged which I think led to some nicks and scratches on the nice brushed aluminum surfaces of the keyboard. Key activations are crisp, satisfying, and/but loud. I'm personally enjoying the whole typing experience at the moment (Including the sounds); but silent/secret gaming sessions will be a thing of the past with this thing.No drivers needed to be installed which is both a pro and con. Pro being that you don't need to have any more bloatware on the PC just to control the RGB effects on the keyboard. However, a MAJOR CON to me would be that you will be unable to really customize the colors. What I mean is that while there are 6 preset keyboard lighting effects; the one preset that permanently lights up the whole keyboard cycles through all the colours (albeit with different speeds) and cannot be configured to stay at one. (While I'm enjoying the rainbow ripple effect I'm using right now; it wasn't the mode I was expecting to use the most.) You can customize the colours for some of the other settings which is what makes this omission/design all the more confusing. I was hoping that their would be some driver or configuration thing I could have installed to customize the board; however I didn't find any on their website which is why I'm docking a star.I am really enjoying this keyboard, I wish I had gotten a cheaper single colour board, especially given the extra cost for the RGB effects. I do love all other aspects of this keyboard and would expect that the others would function the same. Big brand mechanical keyboards are just way too expensive these days. If you don't want to pay $130+ just for macro keys and programable RGB lights, this Eagletec keyboard is the one for you. It features clicky and tactile Outemu Blue switches that feel very similar to Cherry MX Blue, and keys that are raised on top of a shiny aluminium plate which looks surprisingly gorgeous for such a relatively cheap keyboard. The key caps have some rough edges on their bottoms, and there are some faint, small dots of discolouration on the sides of a handful of keys, but this is only noticeable if you're really inspecting closely. The LED lights look incredible, particularly because the raised keys allow the lights to freely bounce off of the alumium plate to give each key a very pleasant glow. You can customize the lights with about 18 patterns where you can cycle through different colours and control pattern speed, direction, and brightness.Overall, this is an excellent keyboard for a reasonable price that should suit most people's requirements.

If you want a mechanical keyboard but don’t want to spend $200+ this is a great compromise! Bought one for myself and one for my BF as a Christmas gift and he just LOVES the sound and feel of the keyboard, and he’s a tech guy so he’s really picky about what he likes. It looks so good with my tower as well since it has the RGB lighting in the case as well!This is similar to the cherry blue so it gives off that satisfying clicking sound that the old 90’s keyboards made, if you don’t want the noise of the keys I would not recommend this keyboard because it is quite loud but if that’s what you’re looking for this is the one for you! Also all the different patterns you can do with the RGB is amazing and makes a keyboard actually a really fun piece of equipment!
