The media could not be loaded.  Having stayed at home for more than 3 months, I finally decided to buy a guitar for my 7 yo daughter. I have searched many different options at amazon and carefully read the reviews. In the under $100 range, this guitar caught my eye for its excellent reviews. I placed the order last Monday and it arrived in just 3 days. It comes with everything a beginner would need: a bag, a cleaning cloth, two picks, a strap, and a tuner. As with any brand new classic guitar, it takes some time for the nylon strings to stay in tune. For me, it took about 5 days. So if you are annoyed by the frequent need for re-tuning at the beginning, please just be patient.Comparing to my old electric acoustic guitar, this guitar is much easier for the fingers which makes it a perfect choice for beginners. My daughter has already learned two chords (Am and Em) and she loves the guitar so much!To demonstrate the sound quality, I've made a short video with two parts: in the first part I played some basic notes and 'spider' and in the second part I played segment of Romance. The sound quality is well beyond my expectation for the price. I would recommend it to everyone looking for a beginner/children's guitar.

This is a fantastic guitar. I’m an intermediate player, and am returning to my classical guitar roots. I have a steel-string acoustic - which isn’t ideal for playing classical guitar - so I needed to outfit myself with a good instrument. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money, and I researched lots of different classical guitars in the $100/less price range. Reason being, I know both of my young daughters will want to play this guitar as well, and should I ever upgrade to a full-on $500+ instrument in the future, I’ll still need a nice, “starter” guitar for my girls. I chose this one based on good reviews and honestly, the rich warm honey color that I love. It’s gorgeous. The package arrived safely (I was worried about it getting knocked around in shipment, but everything appeared to be OK). It was very easy to tune and holds tuning very well. There are a few observations that I have, some good and some not-so-good, but nothing worth knocking off a star. Overall, I’m extremely happy and recommend this item, hence my 5 stars. A few things: I love the fact that it comes with additional accessories, but some of them don’t make sense. Typically, you don’t use a shoulder strap to play classical guitar. Or picks. I’m going to use the picks on my steel-string guitar (I can always use new picks) but the strap is just going to be donated because I already have a great strap for my steel-string. The bag is not cushioned at all (not even a little bit), so it wouldn’t be very good for travel, but it’s fine for protecting the guitar from dust and moisture, plus it has pockets for storing extra strings and other doodads. What saves the accessories kit from losing a star for me is the tuner. I’ve used countless tuners across the years, and this is hands-down my favorite tuner of all time. It’s so perfect. I rave about it every time I use it, on either of my guitars. I donated all 3 of my old tuners and only use this one now (I even like it better than the tuner app I had on my phone). The included cleaning cloth is great and rounds out the kit. I play this guitar every day and I am very, very happy with my purchase. Although some of the accessories didn’t make sense for a classical guitar, they did add value to the overall kit for me due to my other guitar. A quick tip for new classical guitar players: you’ll want to purchase either a foot stool or lap brace for your guitar for proper positioning, and there are lots of great ones here on Amazon at various price points. (This is unrelated to my review - I wasn’t expecting one in a kit - just letting you know in terms of other equipment you’ll need for classical guitar.)

The media could not be loaded.  Nice guitar for beginners with limited budget.The guitar is well made, nice wood, nice craftsmanship and nice painting. It’s sounds very good. After opening the box, it took about 3 - 4 days to start being able to hold the tone. It’s quite normal for a new classical guitar just be patient. The neck is straight, surprisingly the action is good, ready to play (see pictures) However, to my experience, the guitar is this price range normally need some adjustments at the beginning. There is no truss rod in the neck. If the action was high, I think it’s pretty easy to adjust by filing the bridge saddle.for this price it’s a deal. I bought it for my son, he is 12, who knows how many days he will be interested in learning guitar. It’s cheap, if my son doesn’t want to learn any more, it won’t cost me too much. If he indeed wants to learn, this guitar is easy and comfortable to play , and we can always upgrade later.The size is good, friendly to kids or small hands person. You know what, I am thinking of throwing one in the trunk of my car so that I can have something to kill the time when I drive my son to his soccer training, of course after this COVID 19 . Anyway it’s boring to stay home these days, if you never try playing guitar before, get one, you may find some fun! Even if not, it’s only $90. LOL

I bought this guitar for my kid. He is about to take guitar lessons with a friend. I did not want to pay too much for a brand name guitar, as it will soon be outgrown. Yet, I don’t want a child toy either. This guitar has a nice body. It is a child-friendly guitar light weighted and it feels pretty well built and sturdy enough to play for a long time. Apart from that, the sound is clear and bright but well balanced, perfectly acceptable by beginner standards, and so is play-ability. It comes with few accessories such as a set of spare strings, shoulder strap, etc., which is nice. I have to get online to find out how to attach the shoulder strap though. Overall, I will recommend this budget friendly kid’s guitar.

My boy is taking guitar lessons. I had spend a long time looking through many classical guitar options and finally got this one for him a beginner. Fortunately, it's a quality and affordable guitar meeting my expectations. It suits him in his hand and how he plays. And the sound is good. It stays in tune rather well too. Choosing a classical guitar depends a lot on the budget. In my case, I won't spend too much to get a Yamaha or Cordova for my kiddo as an entry gear. Hope he can keep learning with it.

My daughter just turned 7, and she is pettit size. Her teacher said is a good guitar to start learning.I love that it was a complete set, you dont need to buy anything else.

It came packaged perfectly so everything was kept safe. My 7 year old loves it and it’s the perfect size for him!!
