It feels as though I'm not wearing panties, at all. I'm short-waisted, so mid-rise covers my navel, so what I get with these is complete coverage. I have what I call my "loompah oompahs" -- a fat flap right below my waist that sticks out a bit on the sides. These panties offer just enough control such that my clothes don't cling to this area and provide me with a smooth appearance without smooshing my near non-existent butt like Spanx and other strong control shapewear do. These panties are perfect for me under my dresses for work. They are weightless and non-binding ... and there are no panty lines.I took one star off because the waistband digs a just a tiny bit ... likely because I'm somewhat between sizes. I am also, a fan of Bali Women's No Lines No Slip Tailored Hi-Cut Panty Brief Panties, which have been discontinued.The line and fit of the Bali panties were just a wee bit better, particularly at the waist ... but also the high-cut design was sexier to wear and less granny panty-esque. These panties are more durable, however, than the Bali design, which makes them more cost-effective.I bought a pair in black and nude to try ... the nude is too light for my pecan skin tone, so I am ordering 10 pair of the black. I recently lost weight and am clearing out all the old ones and ushering in the new! I am very satisfied with my purchase.

These are really comfortable to wear all day. The gusset is soft and wide enough that pads adhere well. I don't see any visible lines with these. Some reviews commented and showed photos of VPL, but I think that's a problem with the person buying the wrong size, and the fabric bring tight on the body. Panty lines are formed when the undergarment is tight and the outer garment clings to it.I really like these and would get them again.

I have to agree with other reviewers when they say the underwear did not hold up. The first time I wore these, I had fabric balls over the crotch and rear. One place on the upper rear looked snagged but I cannot imagine what could have possible snagged them. I only wore them under dress pants and not jeans. The second time I wore them, they were ruined. I have never had underwear look like this even after a year of wear. They did show some panty lines, although, not as bad as some of my other underwear. It is disappointing because I have some other jockey underwear versions that I love. I would not purchase these again.

I've worn Jockey thigh-high briefs for 15 years, at least. They're smooth, comfortable, fit well and last a long time.
