Shimano Resin Pad (L02A) w/Fin & Spring

I like the resin pads- they a re much quiter. However, they wer out rapidly, especially in the winter with all the wet road dirt. Simple to replace- just remember to compress the piston with a tire iron or such so the rotor will fit. They kind of have a built in wear warning. I noticed a little ticking sound in the front rotor last week. It was the spring hitting the rotor because the pads were worn down past the thickness of the spring. So,if you hear or feel alittle thumping- change pads right away.

These are outstanding brake pads. They are high performance and aren't noisy in any way - even when applying full pressure.Update - I ride about 100 miles per week in the Phoenix area. A lot of longer gradual climbs and downhill segments. The rear pads lasted about 6 months and the front about 8. I still give these a 5 star rating as they are excellent for braking and there is never any squealing from the brakes. So, just plan on replacing these every 2,500 - 3,000 miles.

These were extremely easy to replace and much needed as I was down to almost bare metal on the old ones... and they are about 5 bucks cheaper than the local bike store... I did need to get going down a hill and lightly brake to stop the squeal but now, just like new...

These disc brake pads are listed incorrectly and should read L02A

Exact fit and easy to install. Replaced noisy original pads and finally have a quite stop.

Replacing sure beats trying to resurfacing with a file!!

Works exactly like the ones you are replacing! TIP - if they stop working as well as expected & are not badly worn, they are probably glazed. If the case, remove then sand back the shiny surface on a flat surface with fine emery paper then refit. Shimano also do a metallic version that may suit better in gritty winter conditions.

Had to replace my original pads due to a leaking caliper within first 10 miles of new bike receipt....CRCycles weren't interested in honouring the Cube warranty and so it was left to me to replace the contaminated pads. Genuine pads supplied as expected by amazon which were straightforward to replace, the caliper however was a complete nightmare. Very low opinion of CRC after this episode.
