Has all the flavour of a Bruce Lee film
Batman: Soul of the Dragon/Enter The Dragon - and the similarities don't end there. You have Batman (obvs), the feisty Chinese broad who doesn't take any crap (here as Lady Shiva - voiced by the wonderful Kelly Hu who voices Cheshire on Young Justice) and the black dude with the afro (Bronze Tiger) immortalised by Jim Kelly in the film who was himself an athlete and martial artist. To make the fourth, Richard Dragon who doesn't stand out as much as the other two. This really had a happening 70s vibe and was hugely enjoyable. The villain is Kobra, although I would have liked to have seen more of him. I was really getting into the 70s funk of this movie, when it just ended. I hope DC are planning a follow-up as they seriously can't leave it hanging like that. Really enjoyed this, but again, the end, or rather lack of it means it only gets four stars. There are also two Batman episodes from the vault - 'Night of the Samurai' and 'Night of the Ninja' in that order. However, best watch 'Ninja' first to make sense of the 'Samurai' episode. It would have made sense if these two had been listed in their correct order.

Not very Batman, but still good!
Batman seemed a random addition to the story, in fact he is only in it for about 20 minutes. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed the film and it’s action sequences. The music score was also really funky!

Wow pants
I'm not exactly sure what Warner brothers are trying to achieve with this new direction. Apart from having a kung fu film and just stick batman in for no good reason. Would have been better if Bruce Wayne hadn't become batman yet. why would he allowed lady Shiva to know he's identity. (Villain)Out of the last six animated movies 3 from superman Man of tomorrow, Batman Vs TMNT and Hush have been excellent the rest absolutely garbage.

Quite Soulless
Saw this a few times on the display shelf, but I was unsure what to make of it! From the cover art, it looked like a live action feature, plus there was no mentioning of animation on it at all, so I held off buying it and when I did finally buy it, took a couple of weeks to consider watching it, and to be blunt, I wasn't missung out on anything all that great!Whilst an interesting time setting for a Batman movie, it didn't add anything to it at all. It was very exposition heavy, lots of flashbacks, which dragged the pacing of the movie, making it a bit of a dull watch. Though the biggest issue, was that it 'was' a Batman movie, the inclusion of the character came across as rather pointless, as just like the time setting, it didn't add anything, it just felt like it was made to be a Batman movie, just for the name recognition to hopefully acquire a few more sales for something that was quite average.Overall, if you don't watch this movie, you'll not be missing out on anything, but if you want to kill an hour and twenty minutes on an animated feature with lots of fighting..... then the Fist of the North Star animated movie is an enjoyable watch and would recommend! Batman Soul of the Dragon, is just rather soulless!
