This is a lovely product. Incredibly well made - very similar to Apple's own standards. The metal is almost indistinguishable from the metal of my MacBook Pro, Space Grey. The connection is snug and the thing has a pretty small white LED once you have plugged it in. Please see the photo of how the connection and colour appear next to the charger cable. Yes, you can't fit two of these little things in, but you would have to be a bit dumb to think you could!Every USB device I have connected works perfectly. As I use my MBP for design, a graphics tablet, printer, scanner, and other peripherals have no lag and it is as if you are plugging your device straight into your laptop. I have a hard drive that I use for my Time Machine backups and the speed is just as quick thanks to the incredible design and engineering that has gone into this.As this thing is small you are likely to misplace it, so I would recommend getting a couple - at the current price, it's easy to justify.Please do let me know if you found this review helpful.

I am using a 2017 MacBook Pro. The item I received from Amazon was a first gen product, which caused 2.4GHz Wifi to drop out. After contacting Nonda, I received an updated product (which was actually smaller than the first gen item). The updated item is perfect - no Wifi issues and it is nice and fast with USB3 items.You can see the difference in physical size between the first gen (left) and updated revision (right). The smaller one works perfectly.Nonda's customer service is fantastic. I was quickly sorted out with a replacement at no charge to myself. They are very helpful and respond to emails very quickly. Thanks Nonda!

You buy this because you've found the Apple adapter that does the same job to be overpriced and the first one you bought has failed. Then you tried other similar adapters that claim to work with Apple, but they don't. Apple designs its products to be very finicky as regards using third party gear, and those failed to work. But then you try this one, and you find it's really well designed, and it works. And it's compact, and a good price, and that's why I give it 5 stars.

The adapter works well with my iPad Pro 2018.It is small, very well built and it performs as it should. I can't say anything bad about this item.Compared to the Apple equivalent:- The Apple version costs roughly double the Nonda- The Apple version is made of plastic. Nonda is made of metal (3 available colours)- The Apple version offers no visual feedback. Nonda has a small LED that shows when it is powered- The Apple version is is made of two pieces with a wire that connects them. Nonda is a single small piece.Even with all the cool-factor that Apple tries (and often fails) to inject in its products, I can't see any good reason to buy the Apple version.P.S. I have no links with the producer or the seller. I paid the full price for the item without receiving anything more than what I paid for.

Works as expected, of course it's made of plastic all around not aluminium :-))) my MacBookPro 2016 likes it.One thing tho, if you plug in a USB any kind of connection into the adapter and then in the laptop it won't work. Frst you need to plug in the adaptor into the laptop and only after that the usb lead and then it will work. it took me a minute to realize that. before that i thought i have to send it back.Good for the money and it does what it supposed to. Recommended.
