I know, I know, "didn't they clearly state the dimensions?" Yes, but in this case, the case is a trapezoidal solid, so you need to treat it like an inch off the stated dimensions, because it bevels in.Great value when you compare to other brands like Pelican: comparable quality at less than half the cost.I like that it is more streamlined and easier to pack and stack that the more block like cases with the handles. Also it feels slightly less rugged, so there is a trade off. Still has the locking holes and a decent latch, though again, the latch is not as solid as the carry style Elephant cases.Still waterproof and still has pressure relief valve, so another winner from Elephant. Just order one size up like some shoes.

I wish it were a bit heavier gauge material! But this is an awesome product and I use it daily. It is light weight and compact so I can keep this in my safe and it doesn't take up a lot of room. I compare this to Pelican Cases I have and the Pelican is definitly a sturdier and more heavier duty product than the Elephant case but that is apples and oranges! I prefer the Elephant where I need the convenience of being compact and waterproof. I prefer the Pelican if I were shipping or was travleing or if there would be a fear of damage with a lighter gauge case. Both have there drawbacks and benefits...

I needed small case for safe that fit SR9c & a extended mag.Case is well built gets job done with little room to spare.Why only 4 stars?Very thin 1/4 Foam base isn't adequate keeping extensions such as slide release & safty switch from touching hard case bottom.I had to add another 1/4 foam on top of existing which eliminated problem.

The case worked well for what I needed it for. I was surprised that it was smaller than I expected it to be. Also, the holes for the locks were a lot smaller than I thought they would be. I did have to get smaller locks.

Great case

My XDs fits well in it along with my spare mag, it will only fit small pistols. But it hold my XDs securely.

Compared to a Pelican case, it seems pretty flimsy. On the other hand, it does what I need it to do, so I'm keeping it.
