Deserves Six Stars
I needed this hospital gown for treatments to reduce a significant amount of scarring after surgery on my arms. The incisions run from just above the bra line on my body, up under the armpit, and along the upper arm to just above the elbow. These treatments are with a laser that must hit exposed skin; it won’t work through fabric. Considering the location and the extensive area being treated, a gown with snap shoulders seemed ideal. My doctor is very conscientious about his patient’s modesty, and I could foresee his going through contortions trying to keep me covered. Without the snaps, I wouldn’t be able to wear a top during treatment, but with the snaps, we just unsnap the shoulder of whichever side he’s working on so the scar is exposed, and the rest of me is discreetly unexposed. The fabric of the gown is like a regular piece of clothing—a shirt or a blouse—neither rough nor limp, and wrinkles are virtually nonexistent when it comes out of the dryer. The best thing about it is that it doesn’t have a soft finish like flannel, so it doesn’t leave lint on my black pants. I’ve seen this doctor for a couple of years for treatment of many problems—post-herpetic neuropathy, bad discs, etc.—and he’d typically drape a white towel across any exposed area that wasn’t being treated. I never remembered to bring a lint roller with me, so when I left the office, I usually looked like I had major skin dandruff. No more! The overlap and snap in back of the gown keep my backside completely covered, too, no matter what position I’m in. I’m 5’ 1” and the gown hangs a few inches below my knees, which, at my age, is a blessing. All in all, if I needed this for recuperation purposes, I wouldn’t be the least embarrassed if visitors came to the door; no scramble for a robe would be necessary. I do find that the snaps can take some pulling to open, but I have some arthritis in my fingers and they’re probably less strong than they used to be. (At least I don’t have to worry that the snaps will pop open unexpectedly.)For the quality of the gown, the price is much lower than I’d have expected. A nice bonus, considering that you usually get what you pay for. I’m really glad I chose this particular gown; if I ever find myself in a situation calling for extended periods of hospital gown use, I’ll buy several more.

Comfortable, snaps on sleeves for easy on and off
This comes in one size so it was huge for my Mom. She needed a couple of these gowns because she had fractured her arm and there was no way that she could wear a traditional nightshirt. These did the trick. Unfortunately, she has since passed away but the gowns have been donated and will hopefully help some other poor soul that needed it as much as she did.

These were great. My husband had shoulder replacement and with his arm in a sling for 6 weeks these were perfect to put on after his shower. During our first recheck at the doctor's office, the doctor said he was pleased to be able to check his shoulder incision so easily by unsnapping the snaps. I purchased 3 of these and that gave me the chance to always have one clean while I was washing the other two. One hint, my husband wanted to wear regular slacks so I just took the gown and rolled it up from the hem to his waist and tied it in the back. That way it was like he was wearing a shirt and he didn't have to deal with a long gown. I didn't want to shorten them because one of us may need them again sometime and want the full size. The size was fine too. He's 6' tall and about 195#. I was thankful to have these!!!!!
