Good book
This book contains the methods/procedures/ways to be adopted when u r going through/experiencing ur Kundalini awakening process. What kind of food u should eat, type of fears and how to deal with them etc are nicely explained in this book. This book doesn't provide any method of how to awaken ur kundalini.

Just okay, nothing more than that
Just an okay sort of book..Those who already have had kundalini awakening will not benefit at all out of reading this book..She hasn't written anything about empathy,ESP,psychic powers which are sure to happen along with kundalini awakening rather she has advocated eating grass fed meat for practitioners if they don't have much abdominal distress so that they might even suffer more from that..If there is no empathy and heightened awareness and compassion for all beings which usually happens, from my own experience,as this energy rises upwards then it might be something else other than kundalini awakening.. It didn't take long to finish this book which doesn't deserve more than one star in my opinion.

Practical, multi-faceted, deeply healing advice
The Kundalini process is extremely dismantling and unsettling and this is an absolutely brilliant guide to anyone who is going through the process. Mary gives advice on everything from diet, to healing therapies, to supplementation, to the advice of being of service and the various stages of the process. It is very very thorough, and backed up with her own personal experiences and stories from clients.I have been following Mary's work for the best part of three years now, have read all her books, many of her blogs and have taken one of her courses. What stands out about her approach is the way she is always more questioning, more searching, more willing to traverse the depths and practically help others wherever they are on their path. She can also be a bit overly stringent, a bit overly ranty and critical at times. Yet I realise this is from frustration from working with people who were not as advanced as they perceived themselves to be.That said, this is another masterpiece and is a priceless gem to anyone going through or supporting others through a Kundalini process. It's a real gift to the field.

One of the most personally useful books I have read
Well the title of the review sums this book for me. It’s easy to read and follow and that’s a bonus. It explained a lot of experiences I have had over the last thirty years and gave helpful advice. In a world that often lacks grounded research and a decent amount of personal experience, this was like coming up for air.

A clear well research guide to Kundalini Awakening with personal experience perspective
So many books about Kundalini Awakening are hard to follow and confusing. They also seem inaccurate in some cases or written from a very male perspective. Finally a book written in plain easy to understand narrative. Mary has researched - it would seem like everything ever written on Kundalini - if that's possible. She then distills all of her research with the experiences she has personally had into as accurate and non dramatic book as has ever been written on the subject. This book will make sense to anyone with any interest at all in Kundalini and will serve as a down to earth base line on the subject. Highly recommend it - can I give it 6 stars?

Step-by-step Guidance
There is a detailed description of the challenges as well as methods to support an awakening or an awakened soul encompassed within this book. It also includes the author's specific experiences on her path, which encourages the reader to see beyond their own processes. Also, there is a magnificent suggested reading list to dive deeper.
