This is a good resource for any teacher or parent that would like to increase their young students' vocabulary.

This book is really great! I think you could use it for other grade levels as well. I love that you have one word a day and a simple, quick activity to go with the one word. It isn't crazy hard or stressful on the student. Kind of like a warm up.

I use this every day with my 6th grade ELA classes. We do a word of the day every day. I like that it is leveled for the grade that you teach. I think the words are very age appropriate.

I liked how its words the kids don’t hear on a daily basis. Words like contemplate, gritty, fiasco, etc. however I wish it included an answer key. Other than that I love this book

I use this with my home schooling, and it is such an easy way to constantly introduce new vocabulary words. I am half way thru the book and I have found the words to be useful words for my kids to know. While we occasionally come across a word that they already know, there are oftentimes a second meaning to the word that they did not know about. So thumbs up from me :)
