I've had this for about aonth now. A solid part, once assembled the chair feels sturdy and the reclining function has been quiet. Be sure to measure the bolt hole spacing on your chair to be sure you get the right part. Although this is a "universal" part and the bolt pattern is pretty standard, the bolt spacing is different for different sizes of chairs.

Hard time finding the right size to replace broken bracket on my chair. This one is all metal, where my old one had a piece of plastic that broke. This one is working great.

Found this heavy-duty replacement for my broken chair. The product came with the mounting dimensions of 8.6" x 6" as described clearly in the ad.. I ordered this on accident, as I needed the 10.6" x 6" mounting that they also offered.. No issue with the product what so ever, I just ordered the wrong one! The Correct part is beyond expectations! Really great replacement. Taking a star off because of the wording/labeling on the pull lever. Wish I could remove it.

Great product but did not fit my chair that I ordered it for. If it did I’m sure it would be a great chair base.

The cup that accepts the cylinder is attached to the main bracket with cheap adhesive. Routine use has dislodged the cup and now my chair wobbles all over the place. Should have just bought a new chair.
