Hidden Warbirds: The Epic Stories of Finding, Recovering, and Rebuilding WWII's Lost Aircraft

Yes I know its an American author and they tend to add superlatives to everything, like a kid in a toyshop and as a rule are not treating subjects to in-depth analysis , but here is an exception. I found the book to be both easy to read and fairly detailed in a subject he obviously enjoyed. A good read for WW2 warplane buffs and interested public and veterans alike.

Great book - somewhat biased to the 'US centric' part of this subject - nonetheless, well written and researched and beautifully bound and illustrated - absolute bargain and a great read.

Bought this book for my partially sighted Dad. As the description said it was large print.No large print in this book

Bought for a family member who is a war plane enthusiast.Found it very interesting.Will be buying more volumes of this series.

A most interesting book. My only disappointment was the lack of British planes included but it is an American book after all.
